Geek squad protection plan is a must whenever you purchase

With todays appliances having all sorts of electronic components its a no brainer to get protection at the time of purchase.

Geek squad protection is a great product and is cost effective. They are always very helpful in getting issues resolved quickly.

Love the look and very nice comes in handy will recommend this for any household

So far i haven’t used my warranty but i got it for my washer and hopefully if something is wrong, geek squad can help me

Geek Squad Protection is definitely worth it to keep the maintenance and longevity assurance.

Within a month or two of this product being delivered and used, we began experience issues with the washing machine leaving a musty and moldy smell on all our clothes. However, because the product was outside the 15 day return policy, we were force to contact Geek Squad for further support. Geek Squad said that they could not find anything mechanically wrong with the product (despite their tech saying that he could totally smell the musty and moldy smell on a piece of clothing) and said that we should contact LG for further support. We attempted to contact LG and they blamed all issues with the product on the fact that the state laws in CA require energy/water efficiency, user error (despite the fact that we complied with all their recommend suggestions on maintenance (back to back tub cleans, use of special sanitizing product, wiping down machine, leaving door open, and using recommended laundry detergents, etc.), plumbing issues with our house (despite the fact that the house is a new construction home built in Sept. 2021) and water quality issues (despite the fact that we purchased a whole house water filter for our home specifically to eliminate this as a factor). Finally, LG stated that we need to run with all washes and tub cleans some type of laundry sanitizer product. While this suggestion did eliminate most of the odors coming from our clothes, I did not buy this product with the expectation that I would be forced to use laundry sanitizer product on a regular basis to keep my clothes from smelling after each wash. Moreover, using a laundry sanitizer product on a regular basis did not eliminate the smell completely. After LG ignored our cries for help, we turned back to Best Buy/Geek Squad because of our extended warranty on the washing machine that we purchased for nearly $500. Best Buy/Geek Squad continually shuffled us back and forth between different personnel, some who promised a return or exchange of the machine only to be told later on that particular personnel did not have authority to authorize a return or exchange. I called the manager from the store we purchased the product from and he ignore our pleads for help. The bottom line is this, Best Buy, Geek Squad and LG do not care about customer satisfaction or stand by the products they sell. A washing machine should make your clothes smell better after use; not worse. Moreover, LG has had major lawsuit in the past over the same exact issues with their front load washers in the past. I have been a loyal customer of Best Buy for years. I’ve spending thousands of dollars with this company, but after this experience, I think I will be looking for other venders to buy electronic products.

This 5 yr service plan puts my mind at ease! I feel better knowing my washer and dryer is covered!

Guys were very knowledgeable and helpful during the delivery.

I guess it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Hopefully i wont ever need this service but if i do i have it

I haven't had to use the service warranty yet, but I feel confident knowing that it's there. It was a reasonable price for what is offered!
