I purchased this plan with my stove. The stovetop cracked randomly while I was cooking without anything hitting it or dropping on it. The technician came out to look at it and was very kind, but the protection plan did not cover this. Even with the protection plan, repairs would amount to roughly $500. In this case one might as well purchase a whole new stove. I will not be purchasing a plan again as it seems it is not worth it in the long run if it does not cover things like this.

Dishwasher failed! Brown spot on electrical box connecting disheasher under cabinet. Now will not work. Called for warrenty service. Took 1 week to make appointment and now appointment is 3.5 weeks out. Totally unacceptable for warrenty work. Won't purchase again!

We have had 3 different repair technicians come out and over 5 different visits and they still have not solved the problem or replaced the unit. They literally have spent more labor money than it would be to replace the dishwasher, and we have not had regulare use of the unit for months.

I bought the protection for my $2k double oven, All they do is extend the manufacturers warranty, so after 1 year old when the plastic parts of my Samsung oven start coming apart they do nothing.

Hopefully we never need this, but knowing how major appliances can malfunction, this is good peace of mind. The five year plan option is great.

Since most items we buy in today’s world have technology and electronics in them. If it is tech, it is going to break, fail, glitch etc. I pay more for the 5 year warranty, but it has saved me a BUNCH of money in the long run. I do not have to PAY- PAY-PAY every time the electronics/tech fails! I always buy an extended warranty. I am a Total Tech member so I get a discount. The only complaint I have is the call center approach to customer service. The people are generally nice, but call centers are a cheap way for you to make me do most of your companies work.. My time is valuable too, and you going cheap by hiring call centers is not very customer friendly.

Decided to purchase this because, with electronics these days, anything can break down, and the cost of a house call with most appliance repair people is over $100 to determine what is wrong. Now I don't have to worry about that for the next 5 years. Hope I don't have to use it but like the peace of mind.

The refrigerator purchase was a great experience, had many to choose from, and compare. We picked out the best one for our family's needs, and love it.

The Geek squad is the best. I wish the remote was as good as the team at the branches but they are not. I do more business at Best Buy because of the Geek Squad. Things are getting complicated today and it is good to have someone to ask quesions.
