I purchased the 3 yr extra protection. I don't usually do this but lately everything breaks as soon as the 1 yr warranty expires. I can't tell if its good protection until I have to use it and see how it goes.

In a day where appliances get 3-5 years before they break, I am glad they had this and that we spent the money. We got about 3 years out of the appliance before we needed it. It did take a bit of time to go through the process and finally get the appliance taken care of.
