5 yrs is good,no matter what the problem they come out and fix it.

The knob on the stove stop locking and the stove turned on when brazed thru it and my house almost caught fire because there was a plastic ware on top, when I called to submit a claim parts had to be ordered for when the technician arrived it would be here and he would not have to come again. This was the weekend of Thanksgiving, turns out the wrong item was ordered by geek squad and tech said he was going to order a motherboard, the following day dont know what happened while i was at work the stove turned on all by itself overheated and melted the sides of my kitchen cabinets that were just installed in October, the overheated so much that the circuit breaker was damaged the oven door sealed shut impossible to open. the tech arrived on 12/13 took pictures and till this day I am waiting for my problem to be resolved.

I don't buy anything from best buy without a warranty. They have come through for several products.

The guys that brought in the stove did a great job of setting it up. The dudes with the fridge on the other hand were not really great to work with since for some reason the refused to connect an existing water line to the fridge.

Wanted to get an extended warranty because my last oven broke down after not being properly installed by best buy
