    The most prone repair item on a refrigerator, the ice maker, is not covered under the extended warranty. Sales people are not upfront about this. You have to read through the whole thing, after you purchase, to find this out.

    It would be zero stars if possible. I can't write a review about the service yet because I have yet to schedule one. First I tried calling the 800 number, After way too may prompts answering questions (at least 10) I finally got to question that I couldn't answer right away, one that I really shouldn't have to since it's information they already have. At that point the system just blew me off and said to call back, then hung up. Very Rude! Whoever designed the call routing obviously doesn't care about the customer. Then I tried the chat. The first few prompts were the "bot" and not a real person and offered only specific choices, none of which applied to my situation. I just randomly made choices until I got to a person. After requesting to start a service call, the response was a link to a web page. Problem is, that page allows me to manage existing service calls but no option to start a new one. The rep on the other end had ended the chat immediately and didn't even bother to check that I could get to the page, much less request the service call. I'll try again later and maybe I'll get an actual service call I can review.

    Waste of time and money. First year they make you go through the manufacturer, second year same issue (after manufacturer fixed once), they have to schedule with the manufacturer to come back out. But they only show one appointment available so I have to wait and hope someone calls me back with a date/time I can be off work for and for what? Keep replacing the same parts until my five years is up and then I have to buy a new one anyway. Total waste, customer service reps not empathetic to their system or situation, have to repeat my self over and over. Cut you off mid sentence and if they listen the first time I wouldn't have to keep repeating it.

    Service OK Once They Have Arrived

    We haven't had need of the Geek Squad for repairs, but thy are generally good. What is bad is installation. Having a 6 hour window is disgusting. Isn't the customer's time worth something? And not all of the installers are decent.
