Hope you don't need it but 5 years covers it. My Vizio panel went bad after 4years 10 months, 5 Year got me into my new LG without having to pay hardly anything out of pocket! Was easy to call and initiate with Best Buy, had a new TV next day.

I gave a 3 because the genetleman that I talked to was cordial. I decided to call due to a defect on the ethernet port on my 35" TV. This service is not convenient if you are not close to the store. To use their services, you have to take the merchandise to the store. For customers that are more than an hour away, not convenient. Will not purchase the geek squad plan again.

My old Samsung 4K 75-inch TV started having white spots in the display after 5 years of regular use. Thanks to this protection plan I was able to replace it with whatever's new out there, without needing to pay an arm and a leg and just paying the difference. This protection plan saved my life, I definitely recommend considering it!

I'm a big fan of the Geek Squad protection packages. They replaced a 65" LG OLED C6 TV a few years ago due to burn in and the replacement process was hassle free and went very smoothly. On a side note, the standard warranty included with LG OLED TVs does not cover burn in. I purchase the Geek Squad Protection Plans on all electronics I buy from Best Buy.

I typically choose Geek Squad Protection over the manufacture's extended warranty since Geek Squad is easy to reach and has been very responsive for the other items I've covered this way.

Its a peace of mind in a house full of elect tonics. Much apprecieated.

The only reason I buy from bestbuy is because of the value of their warranty the techs are amazing when they come out and usually come out and fix items on their first try unless they have to order parts but if they can’t fix it they don’t play around they will get you into a new product to keep your life going!!!!!!

Friendly staff, they solve problems with products rather quickly and have them either fixed or replaced in a timely manner.

The customer service I received was favorable The geek squad replaced my TV with a newer one and delivered it right into my living room. They were friendly.

Hopefully we wont have to use it. But price was decent and worth a little extra.

The Geek Squad unpacked my 65" Oled TV & set it up so fast I couldn't believe it. They explained the actual TV set up to me as they were connecting it to my supplier. The two squad members seemed to enjoy their jobs as well as explain everything to the customer. They even took the empty cardboard box with them. What more can you ask for? They are great.

I liked the 50 inch display and audio quality. Got this one for $419 which wasn’t a good deal for Blackfriday. Kept looking and found similar Samsung 4K UHD with HDR 58 inch for $449 which was a great deal for Cyber Monday. I didn’t find much difference between 6 series and 7 series. So replaced this one with 58 inch 6 series which was a really great deal for me. I loved playing ps4 games in this bigger screen.

The service is good and they are very professional.

I know people look at warranties as a way for companies to gain more money from you, but I am a BIG fan of Best Buy's warranties. For one, why would you spend hundreds of dollars on a product and not cover it? You don't buy a car and not get insurance? I've had great luck with ALL of my electronics (knock on wood) but I still don't want to risk it. If I spend hundreds of dollars on a product, its an investment that I want to make sure is covered.

I love having the peace of mind that I can get service without a large out of pocket expense. This warranty replaced one of my previous TVs.

All my appliances were vreaking down at the same time: the laptop, tv, smartphone, and etc. My tv wasn’t even a year old yet. I digned up for 5 year agreement for peace of mind. It is an excellent investment

Great product to have for those expensive items! Unfortunately we had to us it numerous times for our 70 in. 4K t.v. and had to swap out for a new set in just 4 months. With a bit of back and forth, was able to get the warranty prorated and transferred to the new set. Otherwise, the warranty is considered fulfilled once a new set comes into play. This part of the policy I do not agree with. Even so, I would still recommend it

Over the years I have purchased many items from Best Buy. I purchased this plan for most of them. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it on too many of the items, but it was and is a good investment. Once I had a computer that needed replacement and there were occasions when I needed tech support for an item and received the help for free. I consider it a small price to pay for insurance that, like most insurance, comes in handy if you need it.
