    5 year warranties on TVs is the only way to go!

    The 5 year warranty on Tv is the only to protect your investment, I believe! I was able to get this tv because of previous warranty! I will always get piece of mind at Best Buy!

    It may initially seem expensive but I recommend getting the 5 year plan on new technology. It has come in handy for me on several occasions throughout the years. The purchase of this protection plan is on a TV that I received at no cost because the previous one was covered by a 5 year plan.

    The Geek Squad is the best! They are always helpful when I have a problem. I wouldn’t buy a product without getting their protection plan.

    Geek Squad 5 year warranty for new TV

    Purchased the 5 year warranty for our new Samsung 70” TV. Hopefully we won’t have to use it but if something fails in the next 5 years we are covered! (As long as it is not a cracked or broken screen). Keep any young children away from the TV screen so this doesn’t happen!

    This product is quite resistant, the TV can be placed in various positions, it also comes with a large number of accessories to adapt it to different brands of TVs

    I bought a new 65" 4K UHD tv and added the 5-year geek squad protection. You never know when your cat might decide to jump behind the tv, get tangled in your premium HDMI cables, and decide to just dash out and knock it all down, ruining your evening television watching. Best to be safe, get the protection! Also, get rewards points for writing this review. I hope you enjoyed.

    I've been buying Geek Squad Service Protections for every purchase over $250 for 20 years! I've only had to use it once...but that ONE time, I saved the cost of I don't know how many protection plans for how many products! I advise everybody who asks to always get the added warranty protection!

    Fortunately, haven't had to use it yet. But with prior experience with another product... It was a bit inconvenient to have to set up an appointment in order just to drop off and pickup for service. (This prior to Covid). And what happened to be wrong with product wasn't covered under the plan. It was a bit deceptive in what it covered when purchased. I was under the impression that if anything went wrong with product, it would be corrected. You need to pay attention to fine print, to amount of time of warranty and to specifications of what will be covered. Ended up costing me additional money to get repaired. In this instance, not worth the coverage price. Yet, on the purchase of a different product... it was repaired 3x's. Again with the appointments for pickup and drop off. (Prior to Covid) Finally, was replaced with a comperable item. The one I had purchased had been discontinued. In this case, the plan was worth it, minus the inconvenience of picking up and dropping off by appointment. It was just strange that they wouldn't discuss anything with you about problems with product without an appointment. So it basically comes down to what you're purchasing, cost of products and cost of replacing them, as to whether or not price of additional warranty is worth it.

    I used to work for Geek Squad for years and customers who bought it and would need us to repair or replace the TV were so happy they did. Customers who didn't were always made at us when their TV broke and either spent a lot of money fixing it or bought another TV. I always get the protection plans, reduces the stress for when things go wrong.

    Have not used it yet but it’s good to know it’s there. Why do I have to pay for an in-home visit when I have the warranty?

    After killing an 11 day old computer with a coffee spill I wouldn’t be without it. Then there was a particularly frigid day without gloves and as I was on my way to see my GEEKS my freezing fingers dropped my computer on the corner and cracked it. They put a new ‘skin’ on it. I’m sure I’ll make use of my protection on my new computer too. I seem to have karma with electronics.

    Must have for electronics that get a lot of usage. Plus, I get this for anything I spend over $100 for as I don't like taking chances and wasting money for things that could possibly break. Now if it breaks after the warranty runs out then that's fine with me as I got my money's worth in my opinion.
