The television protection plan for the Geek Squad is nice for the price that we purchased it for. If anything happens to the television we are able to get quick results because we purchased the plan for any issues that may occur. With an item that size I think it a great idea to purchase a protection plan.

Very fast to go into the store and get things fixed

I always take it an extended warranty because I have found out that it pays off in the end and besides, I want to make sure I'm protected. Best Buy's warranty is a very good warranty, that's why I have no problem in paying for it, even if I don't use it, I do have a piece of mind during those 5 years since the manufacturer warranties are usually only 1 year. Just being able to take it to Best Buy, rather then sending it off, makes it even better.

Although the 5 year Geek Squad Protection Plan is up front pricey, it delivers as promised. I've replaced 2 TV's due to screen failure and have received full credit towards a replacement. The exchange doesn't occur overnight, but it happens.

The individual Andrew, who helped me, was really concerned about my issue. Unlike his coworker, who I overheard continuously prompting him to stop trying to assist me.

Do yourself a favor and do not skimp when it comes to protecting your investment. Geek squad will replace or repair anything that goes wrong and coverage is quite comprehensive. And will provide a significant discount on anything that isn't covered. Not to mention excellent support for any questions or issues you might run into. The customer service is excellent and very helpful. When I couldn't properly get my LG oled (bought from BestBuy) to connect with my Xbox series x and soundbar (both purchased elsewhere) one call to geek squad and the rep walked me through the the entire setup a lot more thoroughly (4k 120fps atmos) than any website or video I could find, no questions asked! If you're spending your hard earned money on something you really ought to consider this added layer of security and protection to give you peace of mind.

I usually get the geek squad protection whenever I buy anything. I made a mistake one time and didn’t get it and lo and behold. I needed it and I will never purchase anything with a big dollar value without the geek squad protection ever again.

Covers everything. When something stops working you give it to the geek squad and they hand you a gift card for the purchase amount. Easy as pie.

Got my replacement but your protection goes away if you make a claim. 5 year is kind of misleading.

Good tv. Really loved the quality of the color....

looks and feels nice except for the tv stand. tv stand base is nice and heavy and metal. but the shaft and mount is plastic holding a ~50 pound tv. therefore it wobbles as you set up or whenever you touch. out of the box settings are ok but its annoying to find the right settings especially if you want to get rid of the stutterrinf on fast moving objects. also annoying how intelligent mode is not always the best, so i end up going back and forth between intelligent mode on and off. but when its off you have a myriad of settings to mess around with which gets annoying furthermore. so you either always have to compromise something using their preset settings or adjust/edit settings everytime you watch something different. so unless you are constabtly going to watch the same type of things, you may spend more time than you want messing with settings. the biggest thing that bothered me is when you see bright and still objects, you see like pixels or dots moving. like when u try to see how detailed someones pores are, you also see dots moving so it seems like you have a damaged tv? im not sure how to explain it or if it is a problem but it bothers me.

The team we got were amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, patient. They never rushed us and spent time showing us the options and shortcuts. This team has been together and worked for Best Buy for a long time. Definitely recommend this service and will use again when we need to purchase any tvs

Used their tv repair at home service before. They replaced a defective panel on my tv that would have cost me $500 for free. Don't buy warranty from others and hear "do you have the box your tv came in, you have to send it off yourself to repair center, there's nothing we can do, do you have your receipt from a year ago, I don't really know anything I have to get a manager or any other of the poopie you'll probably hear elsewhere.
