    I would recommend a Geek squad protection plan for most any product that cannot be easily replaced for over $150 dollars, be it electronics or appliance's. Best Buy's protection plan in my opinion has been one of the best around. We have had several products that have failed and Best Buy, as long as it was covered, has stuck to their promise, if they could fix it, they did. if not, they either replaced it with a brand new product or they gave us the money back for the product and allowed us to purchase a brand new product because they no longer carried that product. It was really a no hassle thing and I could not be happier to recommend it anyone. I am sure there are some stipulations that we have not ran into, but we have had no problems at all in the 5 products we have had issues with in the 12 years or more we have purchased Best Buy protection plans.

    Good picture, unstable WiFi connection

    Picture is great, but it drops WiFi connection almost daily. It’s annoying when something I’m watching suddenly freezes and then I have to go through the menu to reconnect the internet. I’ve tried restarting the tv and my router and it still happens.

    I live near the Best Buy in Aventura area. Note: for the most part I do all of my electronics purchase from the aventura store. I happened to be near the Best Buy in Hialeah so we stopped by and purchase a Sony tv from them Along with a extended warranty one year to the date it broke, I then call the geeks They came out six or seven times they were unavailable to fix the problem. So the geek called the aventura store since it’s only a few minutes away to see if they would help on the exchange and aventura Best Buy declined to do anything about this issue. Then they called the Hialeah store and spoke to the manager Hector and he accept to take the tv back with no Additional charge to me. All of this has taken 5 months to be resolved, I believe that I purchase the tv at Best Buy and the Best Buy at aventura Should have looked at it more clearly. Best Buy in Aventura lost a customer and Best Buy in Hialeah has gain one&

    Best warranty for an oled tv period full stop Best buy geek squad warranty is the only warranty that explicitly states it covers burn in nuff said...

    As we haven’t had any problems with our newly installed 55” Sony T.V. yet, I’m not able to honestly review the 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan. However, if the protection plan provides service that’s equal to our installation service, we’re not worried about our ever having to use it!

    So glad I paid for this. I usually don’t, but when it comes to TVs I’ve been burned enough to know it’s worthwhile insurance. Sure enough, our TCL 75 in screen went out not 3 months after the manufacture warranty expired. The Geek Squad came out, tested the picture, confirmed it needed replacement and called the exchange in immediately. I had a confirmation number and a link to the number where I spoke with an agent to get it replaced. So seamless and efficient. Thank you Best Buy!

    Have'nt had problems with TV. Its only a month since i purchased it, but like the peace of mind knowing that if there's a problem i can call the Geek Squad. Bought a two year extended warranty.

    I will tell you right now I always recommend a five-year warranty when you buy a TV especially if you're a type of smart buyer that doesn't constantly buy like some Enthusiast or fomo having person. I

    Was going to get the 2 year plan, but decided on 5 year after some thought. With the 2 year plan you are paying for one year after manufacturer warranty expires. My new TCL 75 inch TV is covered and I am pleased. Had the plan years ago on another TV and when that could not be repaired , the warranty company gave me a code, I walked into Best Buy and picked a new TV... no money out of pocket, so prior use and peace of mind !

    I’d gotten this warranty with a brand new tv, and when we hired someone (not from Best Buy) to mount the tv on the wall, he broke it. It was literally two weeks old. The warranty doesn’t cover damages, but when I called Geek Squad to ask whether I could transfer the warranty to the new tv I was going to have to buy, they made an exception for me due to my unfortunate circumstance and told me they’d replace my entire tv. I was so shocked and blown away because I didn’t expect that at all and was fully preparing to buy another tv. The customer service is the best I’ve encountered and it’s absolutely worth it to buy the warranty.
