Peace of mind to have protection plan. Great to be able to take product to store.

Good to know help is there when needed. Havent had to use it yet tho.

Just over 4 years ago, when we purchased a 70” tv and sound bar, we purchased the Geek Squad delivery & installation as well as the 5 year protection plan. In all honesty, expected the 5 year warranty to just go unused, as most warranties do. Just over 4 years later, when the television began showing signs of a bad LED panel, we placed the call to Geek squad. The hardest part was just getting connected, waiting 32 minutes on hold. But, once on with the agent, everything went smoothly and efficiently. The tv was deemed unrepairable, so a credit was issued towards a replacement. Because Geek Squad was originally purchased, it was included with the replacement - ALL of it - delivery, install, hook-ups, haul away. This policy became money well spent! And needless to say, we purchased the policy on the new, replacement television.

This for us is a no brainer. If your making a big investment the piece of mind geek squad gives you is nice. I bought this exact same tv a couple of years ago with no protection true story and after a couple of months the screen broke. That tv is at the town dump. Anything can happen and no it wasn’t the kids. Life happens. Even after the year a line can come down one side then the other and your out of luck. Then you’ll be wishing you got that protection. So take my inexperience as a reviewer and just get that much needed protection. Hope I helped.

Recommend getting a protection plan for TV with todays disposable TVs. Twice I was in my warranty period and BB replaced my TV for free with a new TV.

TV I purchased had a bad board. They replaced the board at no cost, but still had issues. They were able to replace the TV with a brand new one (newer model) at no additional cost, and they even threw in another warranty for free!

The Geek Squad team provided exceptional service when setting up my new TV. They were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable, ensuring everything was perfectly installed and configured. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to answer all my questions made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Geek Squad for any tech needs!

One of the best AMC provided by BestBuy. It is always recommented to get this protection for the peace of mind for costly devices. Pros: 1) Excellent service. The excecutives how handle our calls will make sure we are comfertable and serviced well. 2) Ease of contact - 24X7 some one is available to help us. 3) Knowledgable service persons - The person who comes home for the service / at the station are well knowledgable about the object they are working on. 4) Excellent exchnage policy. If the object is non repairable, the company will refund the fill amount (including the tax) for an excange (if the same item is not available any more). The cons i felt on this program 1) Little more expensive than the other company AMCs. 2) Some time in-home appointments takes some time (but sure it will happen with in a weeks time )

Well worth it for certain item levels. Very useful option for peace of mind. Since Samsung doesn't think much of their products and provide a minimal warranty I got this to be safe. My last tv has lasted well but the next one failed in less than 2 yrs. I Showed them the issues and they instantly gave me full credit of purchase price. Too bad they don't consider a sale price when giving credit. I had to pay out a little over $100 to get an exact replacement with the current model since there were no sales at the time.

I bought the 5 year protection as my last Insignia stopped working in the 4th year, which was disappointing. If this happens the same way with the new TV within 5 years, I would expect BEST BUY to replace it . Ideally it would continue to work longer, but if it doesn’t, I will not be left holding the bag with nothing.

All I can say is one word. Phenomenal! Geek squad workers get the job done and are very courteous. They solved my problem in a fast, diligent, and timely manner. The questions I asked and the answers I got were very well satisfied to me. Best Buy has a customer for life. Geek squad members are a credit to their profession. Kudos and 5 stars to the Geek squad.

In today's complex electronic world, I wanted the protection and a hassle-free way to deal with the problems we experience from time to time. I haven't had to use it yet, but it brings me comfort to know I can get help when I need it.

The agents help me to replace my tv when the screen went black. I had a new on the same day

It was the best purchase I’ve ever had on a product. I had some problems with the television and they had a tech out right away to take a look at it.

So let me share my agony. Purchased my 23 yr old Daughter a 65” TV for Christmas. It was really for my 1yr Granddaughter…SHHHH! Well I mounted it on the wall, of course, and within a month or two they moved into another apartment without the roommates. Before place was remodeled for them they spent 3 weeks at her In-Laws. Well I moved them both times and when TV was turned on again after two moves, though seemingly perfect, the screen had apparently been pressed to hard at a single point and did not work. Not worth fixing. Bought her a 70” this time WITH THE WARRANTY!! Don’t make the same mistake I did :]
