    Purchased the 5 year protection plan from the Geek Squad. Hope we never have to use it, but it gives us peace of mind.

    Geek squad has some of the best protection for customers. They’re one of the few businesses left that doesn’t treat their customer’s insurance/protection coverage like it’s a personal inconvenience to them, or operate it like a scam and not actually protect your purchase when you try to get them to honor it. I don’t usually opt for “protection” because it is usually a scam. I do at Best Buy though, because they’re known for actually honoring their protection agreements.

    Geek squad folks were great to work with. The protection plans offered by Geek Squad are a must. Selext the longest protection plan offered for your purchase.

    My son's tv went blank a year after purchasing it. I bought the 5 year warranty for the tv. I called geek squad and they told me that tv was not in stock. So they upgraded me to the next best tv available. Three days later the tv was delivered and they took the old tv back with them. Service was on point.

    This plan is for five years so it gives the freedom to have my tv services and save me money on the cost of repairs.

    Get one. Had a Sharp TV several years ago. It started to die about 2 months before my extended warranty expired. Best Buy sent a technician to my home and when he found that he couldn't replace a defective part, BB refunded my original purchase price and even prorated what was left on the warranty.

    Geek squad is the best part of shopping at Best Buy. When I go in to the store they are always helpful and work with me to resolve questions or problems. When they come out to set up or correct problems they are courteous, competent and are able to demonstrate how the product works. For those of us who are not good at technology they are a very valuable resource. Just know that if you need help during covid they are very hard to reach by phone - it is far better to go into the store in person and speak directly to one of the techs.

    As luck would have it my issue was about to be resolved and then bam Covid hit and stores were closed. Even through all of this they took care of me. I was eligible for a product exchange and so I selected it from the website not being able to go into the store. But not having the benefit of a product demo and information to help me make my decision like would be done when physically shopping in the store, they sent someone to do that for me in my home when things opened back up to make sure I was satisfied with my decision. Thank you Best Buy every time!

    Havent needed this for anything i own but im definitely glad i have them as potential help for when and if s problem arises. Either way i have used them for non purchased items and they always do great work. Id definitely use them for electronics in the future anytime

    I always get the warranty package!!! Highly recommend! I had my previous TV from Best Buy and it went out after only 18 months. Best Buy replaced it and reinstalled the new one at NO Charge!

    Had an LG LED TV die on me. Brought it into Bestbuy, had to make an appointment to speak with a Geek Squad member. Next appointment was available the following weekend. I went in the next Saturday, TV was sent out within a day or so. I kept getting emails telling me what was going on. After 5 days or so they told me nothing could be done to repair the TV, it would cost too much. And I was getting a replacement. Went back to Bestbuy and they gave me a gift card for the full amount. If I didn't buy this protection plan, I would be out of $600. Needless to say I used the gift card to buy a new TV and I bought the extended warranty.

    If you determine that you want to take care of a device for a certain amount of time, and you decide the price is right for that item, then nothing beats Geek Squad coverage. If they can’t troubleshoot your problem, they will send a technician to repair it. If they can’t repair it or determine it not to be cost effective to do so, they replace your item within the time period for your coverage. I don’t get it on everything, but for something I know I’m going to be trying to use for 5+ years, it really doesn’t make sense to forego this coverage long term.

    I Want My Samsung TV

    Received brand new 75 inch Samsung TV with no delivery defects. Also received my purchase in anquick and timely manner. My new television produces a clear and ceisp picture with perfect smart app capabilities. I would highly suggest this product to anyone looking for a new television and for an affordable price.

    The Geek squad team is very thorough and patient when explaining and deciphering whatever problem you may have. In my case, it was my old tv. They got a team to come take a look at my problem in less then a week (during COVID-19) and were very sanitary and took necessary precautions while in my home. They wasted no time and corrected the problem very quickly. They were in and out in 10 minutes (I mean it) Bravo, y’all are bomb. Get an insurance plan guys, because it didn’t cost me a thing (or a deductible) and they’re smart and fast. Do it.

    I highly recommend getting a protection plan for any expensive item. Especially items that have in-home protection because they are to large to take to the store. My 60" Samsung Smart TV broke 3 yrs after purchase which meant the manufactures warranty would've expired. Fortunately I had a 5 yr Geek Squad plan. They came to my home assessed the problem and because they didn't have the parts to repair my Samsung they gave me a voucher to purchase a newer model as a replacement. I paid $220 for the protection plan on the 60" it was worth every penny! Otherwise I would have nothing. So I gladly paid $189 for the 5 yr protection plan on the replacement TV

    I had the Geek Squad warranty. I had an issue i made the call to them with in 2 days they came by diagnosed the problem as a bad mother board . I was told the geek squad service would replace it at no cost . They contacted me within a day & schuled an exchange day . It took about 6 days from start to finish they picked up & delivered the new . All in all its worth it .

    I’ve been getting service plans with Best Buy since the PS2 days. Never once has one not come in handy. They’re a must for me with high end purchases.
