I opted for the warranty, with tvs you never know. It is best to be as safe as you can be especially if you move a lot.

Good peace of mind in case something goes wrong. It was inexpensive.

purchased the 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection for my new 65 inch tv. really debated, but thought i better be safe than sorry. havent had to use yet, so dont know.

So I bought the warranty for my 40 inch TCL on October of 2023. I called in cause I had a ghost image and I couldn't get any thing for local channels to work on this Tv and I tried 4 of them. So I called in and they said I had to bring it in or they could charge me to send repair out for service. I had a warranty that said you would never be charged?? So I just had shoulder surgery in May. It didn't go well and now in 2 weeks I am about to have my second surgery on my shoulder. I am older in my 60S. I brought the Tv in and the gentle said I wasn't supposed to bring it in. I would have to take it home and they would charge me. I have a warranty. I told my problem. Then he said he would check if they could replace it for me. Then he came back and said he would have to send it out for repair and it would be more than 2 weeks. I am having surgery and really need to have my Tv. I have always made Best Buy my first stop with TVs. I am going to replace my Tv in living room soon. But I am disappointed that not if I get my Tv I won't be able to install on wall with one arm. Just very disappointed with the overall process. I was hoping for a better outcome.

Got the protection just in case you never know.Always get it on a TV.

My television has worked well and I haven't need to use the Geek Squad. I am happy to happy to have them around just in case I need them. Life is better with them in it.

I am so thankful that the warranty protects and allows me to bring back to beat buy instead of a third party

Always get the extra coverage it is the best way for you to have peace of mind

Great for anyone purchasing electronics that they want to last years just incase something happens it goes out.

I have not used the service but it is good to know that if there are any problems with my TV I am covered.
