    I wrote another review for the first extended warranty I had purchased from the geek squad. My dad’s TV had gone out and had been discontinued. The geek squad came to the house and within days had a new TV installed and running for my dad. I had purchased the first warranty, thank God I was those TVs are expensive. So when this TV went out and was replaced I also purchased another extended warranty for a Christmas present just in case the TV went out again. They did a great job and thank God I purchased the warranty.

    I wish I can give 0 stars. The worst experience I’ve EVER experienced with Best Buy and I always have them install stuff. The one guy was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! He didn’t do anything I put in my order and kept saying it wasn’t there. Then they didn’t even finish setting up my tv. If this the type of people they have working with them now I won’t be coming back! From the start to the end the man was Rude, rude, rude!!!! I asked for the cord to be hidden in the order, he said it wasn’t in there (in a snarky tone). I asked for the old tv to be relocated in the order. He said oh no I’ll have to charge you (again in a rude tone). He left without setting the tv up, but honestly I didn’t want his negative rude self in my house any longer anyways. Never again!!!

    I can hold my own but i alway get great service with my Geek Squad! Fast, reliable, replacement fast, walk you through trouble shooting. They are great!

    My interactions were very limited. My TV broke in a freak lighter throwing accident literally a week after I purchased it. I bought a 2 year protection plan. Now, I understand that I'm to blame, best but wasnt throwing a lighter to his friend .... missing horribly. However, I was told that basically the TV was trash. I was better off throwing it away. There's nothing that could be done and to just buy a new TV. My protection plan was a waste of money imo. Threw the TV away after 5 months since I couldn't find a place to fix it. Overall, I can only blame myself.... but I can also say that my fear of making a large purchase that wasn't insured ended up being a reality even though I was convinced into buying insurance. See what I'm saying?

    This is a little tricky and almost sneaky. If you buy some thing on the website, you have the option of adding a five-year geek squad plan. Nobody tells you that when you’re in the store and you buy a Samsung item. You are only allowed to get Samsung care as your warranty. It is one year less and $10 more. God help you if you try to cancel it and buy the other warranty. You will be on the phone for 13 hours like I was.

    They mounted my TV with no problem. They took out all the packaging materials and TV box and hauled it off. They answered and showed me how to use the TV. Highly recommend them!

    Happy that I purchased he Geek Squad, now a days you can never tell when your appliances will go hey wire and it's always a good to have peace of mind knowing that paying for the extended service will help you if you ever need it. I make it a habit to get the Geek Protection for all my purchases at Best Buy, so far it has been one of the best decisions I have made along with the great purchases I have also made. There is no where else to go for service like Best Buy or selection for what you are looking for.

    This TV was exactly what I was looking for and for an amazing price. The picture and sound quality are both amazing and I am a fan of the Home Screen interface. The Samsung channels built in are great it seems they combine the channels from various free streaming TV platforms. This was a great buy and highly recommend.

    In two years, I’ve never had a problem they couldn’t fix. Whether in-store or with at-home service, they always deliver. If you’re looking for reliable tech support, Geek Squad is a great choice!

    I purchased this tv over a year ago and absolutely love it. The picture quality is great! I love all the feature with how the UI is set up for all my streaming services. I love the simplicity of the remote.

    Geek Squad Protection Plans

    I always purchase a Geek Squad Protection plan on large purchases. I feel better with the Geek plan than the item's manufacturing warranty. When using the warranty through the manufacturer, many problems evolve: ie time for replacement/repairs, shipping the item to the manufacturer, communication, etc. I had to use my Geek Squad protection plan on two large purchases and I was highly satisfied with the results!

    LG C2 42” - Great as PC Monitor

    I got the 42” to use as a PC monitor and its been excellent. Blows away every other monitor I’ve used in the past and the added versatility is a nice value add. I’ve had no problem with the auto adjusting brightness limiter and don’t mind having to turn the TV on first (as opposed to how monitors will just wake from sleep), but YMMV.

    My purchase was an AMAZING one i really have had great help from anyone ive spoken with. I would tell anyone that needs to get a gtrat purchase to go to best buy the customer service is AWESOME and the service is great. Thank you all for your help

    I had an issue with the screen on a 65" OLED LG television. The television was inspected by a technician and was replaced at no charge. I am a very satisfied customer.

    So like any product warranty you wont use it if you buy it. Or? I buy these warranties with things I don't want to carry back or printers so if the ink cartridge explodes. The only bad thing about these warranties is that one of the years runs concurrent with the manufacturer warranty so you don't get the true amout of warranty you are paying for. nice thing is that if something happens just take it back and throw it up on the counter.
