Here is the deal, if you dont get Geek Squad Protection, you are missing out. Lets start with the fact things are not made like they used to be. Drop something once and its done. Now I can be my clumsy self and not be overly worried I lost my item. Win win

I have had good experiences with the Geek Squad extended warranty so I always have piece of mind when I purchase it with every buy.

The repair team at the Minnetonka store went above and beyond to assist me with my issue, they weren't able to resolve the issue due to extenuating circumstances, but I left with a plan and was completely satisfied.

Easy to use. Lightweight. High image quality. Bright colors. Excellent price.

Electronics are so expensive and more defective nowadays, you'd be crazy not to get the warranty.

I love my TV and I Iove everything about it and I love that I have geek squad it's a life saver best investment.

Makes purchasing a pricey item feel good knowing that if any should happen your gadget is protected and guaranteed checked, repaired or even replaced.

The amount of times something seemed to just go wrong due to my luck with technology I've decided to get warranty on everything I buy now haha and it's already been worth it!

I have not had to use the Geek Squad for this product but you need to have the ability if you need them.

Have not used for current tv but I have used in the past and it worked out to my favor. They came checked the tv and recommended it be replaced. I had one a week later and have always purchased tvs from Best Buy ever since

They set up an appointment for anin home visit within the week that I called. Because of COVID Brandon from the Home Theater Department of Geek Squad (Home Theater Dept handles large TVs), took information from us over the phone to diagnose the problem prior to coming to our home. Based on our description he attempted to order the part he suspected was the problem. But the part wasn't available. So they called and told me I had a choice of an exchange for another of the same if it was available, another comparable tv costing the same as what I had paid for this one, or store credit for the total amount I paid for the original television. We chose the store credit. Within minutes I received two emails. The first was a copy of my original receipt. The second was the link for the store credit. It required my phone number and a Pin number that was on the bottom of the receipt from the first email. One click later and I had my store credit. It was really that EASY! We dealt with several people along the way. They were always pleasant and took their time to help us. By choosing the store credit, my husband and I were able to shop the current sales, decide if we wanted to downsize from 75", whether we wanted to spend less this time or maybe spend a little more. But several hours later we choose another 75" TV just not the same one. And YES we'll be purchasing the 5yr Warranty Plan again.

Haven’t had to use the protection yet and hope I don’t have to.

I am so glad that I bought the Geek Squad 5 year protection plan! I've had a few issues with the device and the Geek Squad has always stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park.

I (thankfully) haven't needed to use my warranty yet, but Best Buy made it super easy and affordable to protect my purchase!

We had to use our 2 year plan. They did pay up to what we paid for the TV but that was a lower amount due to a recent discounted price. Therefore in order to swap out for a "like TV" we would have to pay more! Should be based upon the value of the TV when it was originally listed. If we swapped for the same amount we paid we would wind up with a inferior TV today. So we would up having to pay more to upgrade due to the defective TV in under 2 years.

I hope I never need it, but I did buy one. It was not very expensive when I purchased the TV.

Glad I got the protection from geek squad. Technicians are knowledgeable and I feel much more peace of mind that I have the protection for my device,

I always trusted the geek squad to do repairs and answer a bunch of my questions they always been there for me and the family great job and installing our washer and dryer thank you very much
