    ,,,,That's what they say right ? Well, After spending $3,300 on a brand new Television , I didn't want to spend another $600 on top of that for Insurance. But then I thought about it,,,,,,,,,,,What if this Television had electrical issues,,,,,,,,say,,,,,,1 year and 2 months from now ??? What would I do then ? I mean it would be outta warranty then. All I know is that for spending THAT KIND OF MONEY , I want to make sure that I'm covered way past the manufacturers warranty,,,,,,So I bought the 5 year plan,,,,,,,,,,,,,Also came with a piece of mind for the next 5 years. Don't you end up regretting NOT getting it.

    I keep my Geek Squad Protection plan as an on going safety net for all of my electronic gear. At age 80, I have no interest in doing this kind of stuff on my own. It is really great to know that these guys are on the ball and know what they are doing, I have had to use the "plan" at least four times a year, and have been consistently by the thoughtful staff who have either over the phone, on line, or in the store have walked me through some technical problem AND solved the problem and gotten me back to work. As a "senior", I really appreciate the skill and courtesy of their staff.

    Honesty in a World of Mediocrity! Worth the Cost!

    I purchased the five-year protection plan on our old TV 4 1/2 years ago. With only six months left on the plan, the old TV started losing its connection to the internet and the menus began malfunctioning and didn't respond as intended. After attempting to repair the old TV without success, Geek Squad honored the plan and refunded every dime of the purchase price and also the plan price. How do you beat that? No wonder their Number ONE in customer service and support! Needless to say, I bought a new TV with a new five-years plan.

    I mounted it by myself with help from a few friends as BestBuy doesn't deliver or come out to Eastern Oregon. Had to rent a trailer and fetch tv minus the fuel and time it took to retrieve my purchase.

    Greek squad warranty is a must of you but anything of high value!! Don't save money when it comes to this extra coverage!! You'll regret it if you don't.

    Always Splurge on the 5-Year Geek Squad Protection

    I always splurge for the 5 year Best Buy Extended Warranty because I sleep better at night knowing that if I have any issue with any of my TV's that are 43 inches and up, which are all of them, that Geek Squad will come out to look at them and take care of any issue other that physical damage caused by neglect etc. Most people are unaware that a one year manufacture warranty means that after the 15,30 or 45th day that one is allowed to return an item for a refund or exchange means that you will be left to deal only with the TV manufacture. I equate that to being on a raft in the middle of the ocean.

    So glad I had purchasd the plan with our newn55" Hicense tv. Covered the black out screen that happened in the middle of a movie for no reason. Delivery drivers and support both said they are seeing this more and more. Sonin my opinion the cost for Geek Squad protection was well worth it! Did purchase a 5 year plan for new 65".

    I had geek squad protection on my previous two televisions. Both TVs went out at about four years old. They could not find parts to repair either television so they simply reimburse me the full price I paid for the TV. What more could you ask for.

    It's the best protection plan I've bought. They came in and did a same-day repair on my TV and it was up and running. When it started having issues again and eventually died on me, Best Buy set me up with a new model of the same TV! Came the next day and dropped it off along with recycling the old TV for me. Gave me piece of mind and save me a lot of money.

    I never purchased a Geek Squad protection plan before but boy am I glad that I purchased it on my big screen TV in August 2021. I needed to use the protection plan yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the representative was. He walked me through the entire process and told me that it was actually cheaper to send me a replacement TV. I highly recommend their protection plan and will buy it on any other large items.

    I always purchase the Geek Squad protection plan with my electronic purchases. The price is very reasonable; even if you don't need it, it's well worth the peace of mind. I only had to use it once; all it took was one phone call and my TV was replaced. I'm very pleased with my Geek Squad Protection plan.

    Our first TV has multiple programs; Best Buy told us we could return it and come in and choose a new TV. TV problems was NOT Best Buy fault. Just one of those Lemons you can get from time to time. They sent Jonathan to our Home from the Geek Squad. We were very satisfied with his Service. Very thorough in explaining operation of our new TV. Feeling confident with the operating of our TV was his Top Priority. (They also take back the other TV that had problems). Best Buy is the place to buy any Electronics because of their Sales People and the Geek Squad, they are all very well trained.

    I actually worked at bestbuy years ago and protection plans were a hard sell, they are extremely expensive and rarely used, but as an ex employee i also saw customers come in and buy their dream TV just to have a storm pop it a week later, or the most memorable story was a child pouring juice all over a tv as the mom was unpacking it. It’s a sad conversation to have when you know someone has been saving for something and it’s gone in seconds and theirs really nothing you can do. It’s like buying your dream car, wrecking it and taking it back to the dealer and asking for another.... I HATE BUYIJG PROTECTION PLANS but I do it every time now. One day one of these plans is going to pay for all of the plans I’ve ever bought.

    I can hold my own but i alway get great service with my Geek Squad! Fast, reliable, replacement fast, walk you through trouble shooting. They are great!
