I am loyal to Samsung TVs never had an issue until this tv made a pop noise and went out. The motherboard was out of stock since this size is no longer sold and BB Geek Squad replaced it. I like the Geek Squad but had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment and another week for an ordered part that was cancelled just to replace the unit. I will not be purchasing the warranty on the new unit due to this, as I have additional insurance for all electronics in my home. Do better Geek Squad!

So let me share my agony. Purchased my 23 yr old Daughter a 65” TV for Christmas. It was really for my 1yr Granddaughter…SHHHH! Well I mounted it on the wall, of course, and within a month or two they moved into another apartment without the roommates. Before place was remodeled for them they spent 3 weeks at her In-Laws. Well I moved them both times and when TV was turned on again after two moves, though seemingly perfect, the screen had apparently been pressed to hard at a single point and did not work. Not worth fixing. Bought her a 70” this time WITH THE WARRANTY!! Don’t make the same mistake I did :]

Every person I have encounter with the Geek Squad has been extremely polite , knowledgable

The Geek squad protection had to be activated for my Samsung 55" inch TV after 3 years. Plus side: I was able to get the value for the TV to trade in for another TV. Minus: once you have to 'activate' your Geek squad for the trade in you lose it. I think it could be argued that if the Geek Squad concurs that your TV can't be fixed and needs to be replaced after 3 years, why shouldn't I still have two years of Geek Squad Protection left? So I guess it's not so much 'protection' as 'insurance,' but def. better than having to buy a new TV flat out.

I purchased this protection, but judging from my previous purchases at Best Buy, I probably won't have a need to use it. All of my previous purchases from Best Buy, even from decades ago, no problems were encountered. Thank you.

Haven't need this so far but I get it just incase my games have issues.

So we got this after debating several monitor choices for our new PC, and I'm so glad I decided to grab this. It's great for gaming, okay for office work, incredible for watching shows and movies. It's only 42 inches, which is small for me for movies, but the quality is out of this world. I usually go for soundbars/speakers right away but I found the built in speakers to be manageable for now. Love it!
