I bought a 5 year warranty for my brand new tv. And I know if needed, Geek squad to the rescue, I've delt with them before and they are amazing. If you buy a major appliance, you should always get a warranty.

The warranty plans are good from Best Buy. I had to send off a tv and they couldn’t find a problem with it. Shipped it back to the store and when I picked it up it was doing the same thing. The manager went ahead and gave me store credit for the TV. I love Best Buy’s customer service.

I bought the 5 year as many short warranty TV breaks just after warranty ends, so lets see how long this 65 will last

I always practice what I preach. That is, when buying electronics or appliances always purchase an extended warranty. It's worth the investment. Get it for the maximum time that Best Buy offers. You won't regret it. At least I haven't yet. I had a lot of items go down but with that extended warranty, I would just call and the problem would be solved quickly.

Thankfully my old 55" TV had a 5 year warranty. After 4 1/2 years, the board started to go out. It turned out that the TV was not worth the money to repair and they honored my warranty and I was able to get a new TV (60"), and since TV's have come down in price significantly, I was able to get the TV, new 5 year warranty, delivery and set up, and still get $300 back in Best Buy cash.

Good protection for low price. Real piece of mind.

Imagine red lines down the tv and you just realized it is a new 80" Enough said Best Buy will make sure that new investment works well beyond you paying it off. I always use my Best Buy credit card. If you look at my photo, you can imagine something going wrong past the manufactures alloted time. With my 5 year I know that for 5 years our family will have a working 65" that if something happens Best Buy will pick it up and bring us back a working unit for 60 months.

It’s always great to have some extra protection for life’s unexpected events, and I like having that peace of mind.

I always get the geek squad protection plan. It was a breeze submitting a claim 2 WEEKS before it expired. Geek squad attempted to repair my tv and when they couldn’t I was given store credit to purchase a new ones no questions asked.

They did a wonderful job setting up my TV. Thank you, Geek Squad,!

I got the service because you never know. Glad my 85” tv will be working properly regardless with this service

Have not had to use them but I am sure they are great.

If you do not buy this and your item has a hissy fit - getting service on it is EXPENSIVE... so good luck if you do not buy this coverage. I buy Geek Squad with anything that is an electronic - anytime I have had a problem - they are fast, efficient and worth it! Coverage is transferable too - handy! Always recommend!

I haven't had to use it yet but i love having the option to use it if i were to need it.

So far so good. My TV remote broke, I brought it to bestbuy, they took it and sent me a neq one in a few days! I bought the 5 year warranty for my 55" oled LG TV because all the reviews said it gets burn in on the screen...it's been 3years and NOburn-in, absolutely no issues at all.

They were friendly and helpful but getting the appointment was more difficult than it needed to be
