    Having a five year warranty on any electronics these days is a very smart decision. It’s well worth the money because of the product has issues before five years is up. It’s gonna cost you a lot more money to fix it. I would highly recommend getting the five year warranty it has worked well for us.

    I had some issues with my television, due to an update on when updating the software. Finally, after some time the manufacturer sent out a tech to remove some hardware on my tv and replace it. My warranty did not start till within a year from the purchased date. And that is ok, my television is still on and taken care of either way... It just took a couple of days like 30-45 days due to scheduling and procedures with the manufacturer. However, it saved me a couple hundred dollars...

    2-year Geek Squad warranty

    I've used Geek Squad before on other purchases and it comes in handy. I just don't like the fact that the TV come with one year warranty, so as soon as you purchase The Geek Squad protection, the protection cards immediately, so I basically only got one year protection. Not not a good idea in my book. It should kick in once my one year warranty is over that came with the TV, so I thought.

    Good tv lag with remote choicing

    This was a good buy for price it’s great the image is beautiful the only problem is the smart tv part. Thought it was the batteries placed name brand batteries. And the tv remote still lags in allowing you to go through apps to pick what you wish to stream.

    Defective TV, Geek protection won't honor

    Geek Squad protection is FOUL...!!!! I was told that the protection plan would start after the manufacturers warranty ended. Samsung gives a Minimum of 1 year manufacturer warranty. So I purchase the 2 year Geek Squad protection for approximately $250.00. in July 31, 2020. Samsungs warranty ended July 31, 2021....therefor, by what I was told by the Best Buy sale person, my Geek Squad protection should start July 31, 2021 and end July 31, 2023. When I called best buy to claim my protection...because the TV has a defect with pixels going dead....lots of pixels, so the best buy rep told me the plan expired ...GET THIS....BECAUSE THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION STARTED THE SAME TIME SAMSUNGS WARRANTY STARTS. WHAT SINCE DOES THAT MAKE TO HAVE A PLAN GOING WHILE IT'S STILL UNDER WARRANTY. AS I WAS TOLD WHEN PURCHASING THE TV THAT IT WOULD START AFTER THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY ENDS. BEST BUY THAT'S NOT RIGHT..... AND THEY KNOW IT'S NOT RIGHT...and gave me the option to PAY $130 more dollars to have a diagnostic test of the TV.
