I bought this because the price was so good, and I have had Geek Squad protection plans before. Have not had to use it yet, but its there just in case.

If you intend to purchase anything of significance then you ought to seriously consider adding extra service and protection. Geek squad will not repair or replace anything that has malfunctioned or been damaged but also provide technical support for you by answering any questions you may have and assisting with any installation or compatibility issues you may run into. This is a no brainer for me.

Great tv hidden feajtures that are free, great high resolution and the size is just perfect for a room Would highly advise you to get it

I’ve been using geek squad for all my purchases for the past 4yrs and it’s amazing the coverage you get at Best Buy with this plan take it form someone who really doesn’t purchase coverage for her items because there’s always a catch with all other companies but Geek Squad is amazing truly recommendable.

It's always a good idea to get extra protection plans on anything that you don't want to buy twice because while the quality is great in most of the new technology, any mass produced items have a few flaws once in a while, quality control is really good nowadays but it's always smart to be sure, I've had a few things that I have had to do the warranty on and I was really happy to have it because the manufacturer warranty had expired. I will always get the warranty.

The person who helped me in store was awesome he was a shift leader or something in the tv department who specializes in Samsung but is very knowledgeable and has excellent customer service skills, I went with a 5 year warranty since the bad TVs go bad around 3 years, excellent overall!

All I can say is buy the plan even if you think it is not needed..Best Buy protection stands behind its warranty and they are super easy to work with. If not for them the tv replacement I had to do after my new Samsung tv went out I would cost a lot more than what was spent on the protection plan.

Not one for much with warranties because they always seem to have so many terms. This warranty provided by the Geek Squad seems like the real deal a no worry warranty backed by Best Buy. I used this warranty in the past and was happy with the service

I always a good idea to get this protection. Just take the product backband they replace it with no questions asked.

I have used geek squad in the past but it’s nice to know I have them to help set up my devices. I would definitely recommend them I really think it’s a great service!

I have learned if I only have to make one phone call for help it has paid for itself. I purchased a new TV for our bedroom, our first smart TV. Didn’t understand why I couldn’t get it hooked up and working. The geek squad tech talked me thru the setup. He was quickly able to tell me I was missing the correct cable between TV and box. He told me what part was required. Once I got that part (a whole different story and review) I was set up and watching TV in less than 15 minutes.

This is the best protection for all home electronics. We recently had to use it on a Large Screen TV (58 inch). The TV had a great picture, but kept having sound problems. After we had the Geek Squad out for a 3rd time in 2 years , we were given a fair credit on the unit and upgraded to a Sony 58 inch.
