    we purchased a new Samsung TV, and decided that a protection plan was a good idea, so that we dont have to worry about sending a huge tv back to Manfacture. Best Buy will handle if a problem arises.

    Got this for a tv we bought our granddaughter at college so if anything goes wrong she can simply take back to Best Buy no problem.
