Best thing to purchase just in case of an accident, you are covered for 5 years.

I bought the 5 year protection as my last Insignia stopped working in the 4th year, which was disappointing. If this happens the same way with the new TV within 5 years, I would expect BEST BUY to replace it . Ideally it would continue to work longer, but if it doesn’t, I will not be left holding the bag with nothing.

I will tell you right now I always recommend a five-year warranty when you buy a TV especially if you're a type of smart buyer that doesn't constantly buy like some Enthusiast or fomo having person. I

The Geek Squad is an amazing service, and it is the reason that we only purchase electronics at Best Buy. We recently had an expensive television's picture stop working. One simple, quick call to the Geek Squad resulted in a fast, in-home appointment. The television could not be fixed, so they offered us a current replacement, as we were still within the 5 year warranty period. When nothing that was available would fit into the space, they refunded our entire purchase price via a Best Buy gift card, instructing us to simply go to the store and choose any television that we wanted. They have setup home theater for us, so many times we have used them. Again, we would not even try to own electronics without their support. We always buy the maximum Geek Squad service, and on so many occasions, it has been well worth every penny spent. Love this service, love the Geek Squad's professional, knowledgeable technicians.

Have'nt had problems with TV. Its only a month since i purchased it, but like the peace of mind knowing that if there's a problem i can call the Geek Squad. Bought a two year extended warranty.

Didn’t use this much but its helpful if you can get it

So we got this after debating several monitor choices for our new PC, and I'm so glad I decided to grab this. It's great for gaming, okay for office work, incredible for watching shows and movies. It's only 42 inches, which is small for me for movies, but the quality is out of this world. I usually go for soundbars/speakers right away but I found the built in speakers to be manageable for now. Love it!

I HAVE USED THE GEEK SQUAD A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS HELPED TO FIX WHAT WAS NEEDED.

I always put extended warranty on all of my electronical devices.

I have not had to use this yet, so can't really say how it works. Glad to not have any issues requiring the extra protection. 5 stars for ease of purchase.

I HIGHLY recommend getting Geek Squad for your TVs. Back in 2018, I brought a Samsung 50' 7 series 4k TV, and this year (2020), the LED in the TV gave up, and half the screen was black. I was very disappointed with Samsung. I called Geek Squad. They had a tech come to the house to examine the TV to see if it could be fixed, and they told me it was not worth fixing, but I could replace sticking with Samsung or choosing a different brand. They credit me the exact amount I originally had brought the TV for which I decided to do. They come and pick up the old TV and dropped off the new TV. The only thing I wish they would change was not having to pay extra to have them swap the tv on the mount, but it's okay.

Always a good buy. Always a good response. I have no complains about the service.

After having a large tv fail in less than 2 years and having purchased such a program prior to this purchase I would not buy a tv without an extended warranty! And this time added a power surge addition!!
