Absolutely worth the investment to protect your original purchase. Our television suddenly stopped working and was still covered under the extended warranty we purchased.

Do yourself a favor and do not skimp when it comes to protecting your investment. Geek squad will replace or repair anything that goes wrong and coverage is quite comprehensive. And will provide a significant discount on anything that isn't covered. Not to mention excellent support for any questions or issues you might run into. The customer service is excellent and very helpful. When I couldn't properly get my LG oled (bought from BestBuy) to connect with my Xbox series x and soundbar (both purchased elsewhere) one call to geek squad and the rep walked me through the the entire setup a lot more thoroughly (4k 120fps atmos) than any website or video I could find, no questions asked! If you're spending your hard earned money on something you really ought to consider this added layer of security and protection to give you peace of mind.

I've used Geek Squad twice. The first time they repaired my television on site (my home), the technicians both times brought their own folding tables and cloths to my residence, the second time the parts were no longer available so the technician had Best Buy credit me for a replacement Television. I highly recommend this service. I just bought a 50" bedroom TV (Dec 12, 2023), and guess what I added on as a Just In Case...Geek Squad coverage! My thanks and respect to all of the unsung technicians that Best Buy utilizes to make their warranty incredible.

We got the 5 year warranty and it’s the best our previously purchased Sony kept freezing and they came out 8 times replaced everything and finally gave us a full refund! We were able to get a new tv and so far it’s been great!

It’s definitely worth the buy the geek squad protection plan just in case anything breaks
