We had a Sony 55" Tv that blew up after four years, and we got a new Tv because we had the extra protection in warranty.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.due to the impending circumstances that happen on a daily life - it is always good to be safe - I have had issues in the past and if it was not for me having this extra protection - I would be in sad shape - I always get the protection even if I keep the item for 10 years - it may happen down the line

Haven't had to use the Geek Squad protection so no issues. Always have been satisfied with the service received from Best Buy.
