Like most insurance, you pay for it and hope you never have to use it. Is it worth it for peace of mind? It is for me. Considering how much the insured item cost me to buy, to have it covered is worth it to me. Just consider it part of the price tag.

My wife bought the Geek Squad protection previously and I thought it was a waste of $, but I was totally wrong. We had a smart tv that had an issue that couldn't be repaired, so they replaced it for the full amount we paid for it! Totally worth it.

called them to resolve a tv sold to me with missing internal hardware. they refused to help. tell your floor salesmen to stop telling customers "anything that happens to the tv, unless you hit it with a sledge hammer, it is covered" if they don't even help with a broken tv is sold. 0 accountability

The agents put together all the parts required and assembled my TV in a record time. I cant complaint. The are very responsible abd efficient.

I'd never buy a TV without a geek squad protection. Dead Pixels are a small fraction of failures, but things like wear and tear and surge protection are always a factor. I've dealt with BBY on a previous failure and everything went smoothly.

I am glad that I purchased additional protection for my Smart TV. I am the envy of the family. Best Buy is the best

for big tv's this warranty is better than the manufacturers extended warranty. In some cases it may cost more, but the coverage is much better with geek squad than with LG's plan for TV's
