I usually get a warranty with every electronic I purchase. I had issues with a television that I had purchased. I called Bestbuy and was told that I had Geeksquad and my warranty was through them. It took a few visits, but they ended up replacing basically the whole tv just about. Less than a year later, it did the same thing and Bestbuy refunded about 90% of the amount I paid for tv to put towards another tv, so I went bigger. I am glad I purchased warranty or I would have just had to purchase new tv.

Never had a problem with geek squad. They always get it fixed.

I usually do not add any service protection to products I buy. This time I did. Best Buy offered a 2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection: for $89.99. This seems very reasonable if anything should go wrong with my television once the manufacturer’s warranty expires.

I have t had to use this product but I have peace of mind knowing that if a lightning strike effected my tv it would be covered .

Always get the warranty. It is worth it in the long run if you constant use the tech, Best buy is some of the best in the business at honoring its warranties.

I had a tv that the screen went black shortly after my warranty expired. Thankfully I bought this insurance. When repairs were not possible my tv was replaced with a new one. Best Buy service was great and made the entire process a breeze.

For any expensive device that you purchase, it is worth the cost of extended protection when something goes wrong because without that added protection it can cost you as much as you paid for the device and more to get it repaired. For me, it was a 55-inch television. I am sorry, but I can't afford to pay that kind of money just to repair whatever has gone wrong, and if they can't repair the problem, they will replace the television, but only if you have the Best Buy extended warranty.

I always purchase the extended warranty with all my products at Best Buy. Geek Squad are alway professional, prompt and very knowledgeable when dealing with the issues I have had with my products. However the best thing about the warranty is the procedure for replacing repair or just providing you with an in store credit for replacement at the cost you paid for the product if they do not have a comparable replacement.

As I said in previous reviews, I am lucky enough to have not needed to use this coverage yet, but I am happy to have it there should I need to utilize it in the future. Geek squad is very knowledgeable and competent in knowing how to fix the problem. Should you need to use them for any issues that arise, I highly recommend getting the extra coverage whether you're purchasing a product for yourself or under your Best Buy business account.
