Most of us carry the insurance plans for cell phones each month as a "what if scenario," this is no different for high end home entertainment equipment. For less than cellular insurance and no "deductibles," this is a must have piece of mind. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

The Geek squad service is great. Definitely a must have when purchasing electronics.

It's insurance. Something you gamble on, not knowing and hoping you will ever need it. But if you do, my TV is covered completely for five years!

First tv was damaged somewhere but they made it good. Delivered on schedule and unboxed and set up, great job. Very friendly and professional, efficient and very tidy. Thanks great job, I would highly recommend extended warranty. Protect your purchase

This is one of the Absolute BEST TVs that I have ever owned and the amount of free channels from Samsung show me that I do not need cable TV and that my Apps like Prime, YouTube, etc. The sound and picture clarity of this Samsung is wonderful and the only thing that I could say is that if they added a built-in sound bar option would be amazing.

Got a 50 inch TV a few years ago back in 2018 the screen was recently damaged on the TV thanks to geek squad 5 yr protection plan I was able to have my older TV replaced with a Newer model for only 20 diollar I highly recommend everyone purchase geek squad protection plan you new know when you may need it.

Hopefully I never have to use my geek squad protection, but I have peace of mind knowing it's there if I ever need it! I've been shopping at Best Buy as long as I can remember and they've always treated me good!

Tv arrived ahead of time with fast and friendly service. It's not a surprise, it's the reason I continue to shop with Best Buy.

It's always a good idea to get extra protection plans on anything that you don't want to buy twice because while the quality is great in most of the new technology, any mass produced items have a few flaws once in a while, quality control is really good nowadays but it's always smart to be sure, I've had a few things that I have had to do the warranty on and I was really happy to have it because the manufacturer warranty had expired. I will always get the warranty.

Purchased this with a previous tv and when the tv’s screen was starting to go, best buy was able to replace the tv. It was worth the purchase! They did a home visit to look at the original tv and then set up a replacement with a time and date for the delivery! Highly recommend!

When buying ANY electronics it's always good to purchase the extended accidental warranty!! Better to be safe than sorry, right?? I have spent many of Thousands of dollars through BestBuy and I've ALWAYS gotten protection plans on every product I've purchased. Lets face it, accidents happen and BestBuy has always, literally, covered ALL of my products that have had accidents and I've never had an issue with them replacing the products per the agreements! I NEVER buy something expensive (or not expensive) without an accidental plan. EVER! It's a cheap and must have option in m opinion!

I'm writing this because LG wouldn't fix my TV that was having ghosting problems , but as soon as the geek squad took a look I got a new TV

I have learned if I only have to make one phone call for help it has paid for itself. I purchased a new TV for our bedroom, our first smart TV. Didn’t understand why I couldn’t get it hooked up and working. The geek squad tech talked me thru the setup. He was quickly able to tell me I was missing the correct cable between TV and box. He told me what part was required. Once I got that part (a whole different story and review) I was set up and watching TV in less than 15 minutes.

Gav and Chris are both an asset to the Geek Squad! The service I received was impeccable. They were able to provide me with the necessary equipment for my tv. I highly recommend and would use them again for future services.

TV quit after a few days. They brought out a new one and set it up for us. We bought the tv to replace one that was less than 3years old that had quit. It was a different brand and we had not purchased the extended warranty. Great piece of mind and we were real pleased with the knowledge of the Geek Squad.
