Our faithful tv screen went out and did not come back on. I chatted and called the protection plan and since the item was not able to be repaired it was refunded. The service is worth it completely!

Not has to use yet. Maybe in the future. Nice to have.

I paid for a 2year warranty. When tv went out and i called, i was told they didnt sell the tv in that size(58") any longer so i would have to pay $80 difference for a bigger one,plus $63 for a new warranty or they would refund me for what i payed for tv a year ago. Im confused. What was the need for a warranty if they werent going to honor it? Customer service is nasty and very unprofessional.

Best Buy really stands behind there customers I have purchase every tv from them. I purchase 50" 2021 model Hisense couple years ago with a 5 year protection plan. Some time ago my tv failed. I call Hisense file claim after 2 weeks i never got a call back from them i was outrage by there lousy customer service! So i reach out to Best Buy explain the situration within 2 weeks Best Buy replace my 50" tv with 55" Hisense at no cost to me. Just week ago again the new replacement Hisense tv again failed. I called up Best Buy and spoke to Chris manager at corporate his first question was, have you pick out a new replacement? Yes i choose 2023 model Roku Plus Series and it was $100 more then my original tv cost he said no problem no cost to you and we will come out next week remove the failed one and install with the new tv you choose. This exactly why i buy all my tvs from Best Buy. There customer service is outstanding and they really do take care of there customers and back up there products especialy now theses days where most customer services is at new low. Thxs Best Buy for taking care of me. Your the best!

Can't go wrong with a 5 year warranty on your bigger investment in your house. Have used Geek Squad previously and was happy with their customer service.

Your utility from this service is going to vary greatly depending on the products and services you purchase, The amount of time you are OK with devoting to setting up your own devices, and your level of technical competence and education. For me, this service is not something I would use most of the time - BUT - for certain product categories like OLED displays, the peace of mind is worth the extra cost, knowing I can exchange the display for a replacement if it burns in or has another failure during the warranty period. Overall, it really depends on your personal needs, but this service definitely has its place, and can be a real value depending on your situation.

With Best Buy membership you get Geek squad protection and special membersip prices. You cant beat Best buy prices!

I think it is a really good product. I had an issue with a Sony TV and fortunately I had the five-year protection plan through Best Buy and they warranty the TV out for me.

Tv wasnt delivered to me damaged love that. I am a sold customer,i will be shopping here more often.

With a tv that didn’t fit in my car, they helped dearly with getting the return pushed back out (has to be rechecked by tech) and put it on hold til I could come back for my open box purchase! They, the first gentleman I spoke to on the phone to make the purchase & the whole best buy team at the location I visited helped amazingly!!!

I always get the geek squad insurance! Just in case you never know what happens always a must when buying electronics!

Best warranty and service for the price. Geek squad deliverd my tv to replace a faulty one after 2 years. They even removed and took the old tv with them.

Cool that is included. Honestly is helpful because not many Apple stores are nearby but sometimes I feel like I should just go to Apple instead. Also, some interactions I’ve had previously with the TV not the greatest customer service.

I don’t care who you are or how careful you think you can be, that extra layer of protection is top tier, for sure.
