Worth it. These TVs will die. Spend 80, and get a new one.

We purchased this just in case of technical issues or difficulties with our TV unit. Its better to have a back up on top of the limited warranty and I believe it is easier and convenient to schedule a service with the geek squad compared to the actual warranty company. At least that's what I heard from the actual agent as a tip of advice.

The Geek Squad tech was so knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me and explained the setup. As a result, the TV works as I want!

Good protection for worry free purchase. We got a Hisense TV and worried about it’s longevity so purchased the extra insurance just in case. However the TV had so many problems out of the box we returned it within the 14 days.

It works great and the picture quality is great. It was easy to setup in less than 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this television.

We purchased the protection plan at the recommendation of the salesman at Best Buy. We were purchasing a new Samsung SMART 3D 4K TV and he thought we should have it for our peace of mind. We have problems with our power going out when it gets windy, and we were told that power flickering and power outages can potentially damage TVs.
