We had to use our 2 year plan. They did pay up to what we paid for the TV but that was a lower amount due to a recent discounted price. Therefore in order to swap out for a "like TV" we would have to pay more! Should be based upon the value of the TV when it was originally listed. If we swapped for the same amount we paid we would wind up with a inferior TV today. So we would up having to pay more to upgrade due to the defective TV in under 2 years.

Dreaming on my next new product from Best Buy! Please make it possible for me.

Hopefully don't need to use it but good to know I have the protection for 5 years considering how often electronics tend to break early.

Cool that is included. Honestly is helpful because not many Apple stores are nearby but sometimes I feel like I should just go to Apple instead. Also, some interactions I’ve had previously with the TV not the greatest customer service.

Can't go wrong with a 5 year warranty on your bigger investment in your house. Have used Geek Squad previously and was happy with their customer service.

Great coverage! If anything happens for the next 5 years Best Buy will replace or fix my car radio.

Best warranty and service for the price. Geek squad deliverd my tv to replace a faulty one after 2 years. They even removed and took the old tv with them.

Over all I am satisfied. I owned an older model—store bought, new—for 7yrs. before it stopped working recently. so I decided to buy the newest model. I must say I am extremely satisfied. Video, sound, and gaming graphics—all which pair nicely with my ps5–are superb. The size is perfect for the bedroom not to exaggeratingly huge or small and I had to stop using my sound bar because the sound quality of the new tv was exceedigly better—the tv being mounted. Overall extremely satisfied.

I normally don’t buy an extended warranty but due that the tv is a fair condition item and open box I decided to secure the investment.

I've reached out to them over the TV that wasn't delivered at the time because I did not receive a phone call or email about the service. When it was canceled. They reached out, communicated with me and properly corrected issue.

Purchased this at a very affordable price to protect my new television. Gives me great piece of mind, knowing I have five years additional protection for my purchase!

The agent that came to my home told me that instead of getting a new Roku remote and trying to figure it out with my older tv and Roku 2 player, just go ahead and get a Roku tv. He was able to find a Roku tv that would fit in my entertainment center on Best Buy's online store. All I had to do was pay for it online and wait for delivery. The tv came in a couple of days and set up was easy and not complicated; now I'm able to watch my channels! Thank you!

Buy the Geek Squad 5-year warranty for your electronic purchases. Unfortunately I needed support and guidance for filing a claim for warranty. BB and the GS helped me through the claim flawlessly. Definitely worth the price for the warranty!
