Geeeeeek squaaaad did not use but could be useful for most people

We haven't used this service yet, we'd like to have them set up our Direct TV to come through our TV remote, but don't want to spend $99 to have them come out. I feel like we really didn't really need this service.

You should have it, especially you purchase OLED TV.

Covers everything. When something stops working you give it to the geek squad and they hand you a gift card for the purchase amount. Easy as pie.

The agents set up my television and they set up a sound bar that I had had before and they connected remotes for not only the TV I bought but for an older TV as well as checked my Orbi mesh system Wi-Fi to make sure it was working correctly with the extenders they went out of their way to help me and they followed the Covid safety protocols they were very knowledgeable and assisted me when I needed a cable and I did not have one they were very very nice as well and extremely helpful. And I worked in customer service for most of my life so I feel that I’m qualified to read these people and I feel that they were absolutely the best part of your geek squad

The protection made us feel much better about transporting the TV home.

So we got this after debating several monitor choices for our new PC, and I'm so glad I decided to grab this. It's great for gaming, okay for office work, incredible for watching shows and movies. It's only 42 inches, which is small for me for movies, but the quality is out of this world. I usually go for soundbars/speakers right away but I found the built in speakers to be manageable for now. Love it!

I am loyal to Samsung TVs never had an issue until this tv made a pop noise and went out. The motherboard was out of stock since this size is no longer sold and BB Geek Squad replaced it. I like the Geek Squad but had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment and another week for an ordered part that was cancelled just to replace the unit. I will not be purchasing the warranty on the new unit due to this, as I have additional insurance for all electronics in my home. Do better Geek Squad!

For all my tvs over 40 inches, I always invest in a warranty. So far the warranty has been a life saver. I love the fact that Geek squad will repair tv 40 inches and over in home. They will 1st troubleshoot with you. If problem still persist. They will order parts to your home. They will come and work on tv at home. If they can't fix tv, they will offer you another tv. If tv is not available, they will upgrade you to next available one.

I've never made a large purchase at Best Buy w/o the Best Buy Standard Geek Squad Protection service. A Best Buy Geek Squad Agent recently determined my Sony XBR-70X-850B had a bad panel / display after two years. I was provided a phone number to call for a replacement. Although I wasn't given "full credit" or what I paid for the TV two years ago, it was close to what I paid two year ago. I asked about upgrading to the Sony XBR-75X940D, and to my surprise, I was able to apply the "credit" towards a brand / model that was a "step-up" from what I had. Within 10 days, I had my new TV (Sony XBR-75X940D) delivered by two Best Buy Geek Squad agents and set up in my home. I won't ever go without the 5-year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan.

I bought the 5 year protection as my last Insignia stopped working in the 4th year, which was disappointing. If this happens the same way with the new TV within 5 years, I would expect BEST BUY to replace it . Ideally it would continue to work longer, but if it doesn’t, I will not be left holding the bag with nothing.

Good protection plan to have for all electronic devices

The Geek Squad Protection Plan is great! I had a different 65" tv thar had a problem with the screen. After just under a year, the screen went completely grey. I had the Geek Squad come and check the tv out. First they changed the PC board but that did not help. Next I got to exchange it for a new 65" tv. The process was fairly easy. The person that I spoke with on the phone to help me with the exchange was so nice and very helpful. She let me know my choices of tv's and put through my order. The new tv arrived in just a few days. I purchased a new 5 year plan also.

LOVE LOVE MY TV IT KEEPS ME HOME AND OUT OF TROUBLE. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS FOR YOUR NEXT PURCHASE OF A TV.
