Always recommend protections plans from Best Buy! They’ve helped me big time after a few years

5-year protection plan was a must when purchasing such an investment and the price really works out well when you consider the full coverage you receive during these 5 years of usage. I know from the past it paid off when a former HDTV got glitchy at the end and it was replaced. That's what this is all about - "protection" on your hard earned dollars spent.

The Geek Squad professionals quickly mounted my television and peripherals. Additionally, they assisted me in set-up and provided a thorough overview of the features.

I gave a 3 because the genetleman that I talked to was cordial. I decided to call due to a defect on the ethernet port on my 35" TV. This service is not convenient if you are not close to the store. To use their services, you have to take the merchandise to the store. For customers that are more than an hour away, not convenient. Will not purchase the geek squad plan again.

Definitely a plus to buy a protection package in my opinion. Geek squad seems to be making their protection packages more affordable which is a plus. The warranty covers a remote control replacement too and that could be beneficial with small Children’s and dogs. However trying to get help when needing to use the warranty can be troublesome and time consuming.

I had a small issue with a tv I had purchased, I was in my last year of the geek squad warranty and I was able to get a whole new tv! Service was great and I recommend the extra protection.

As a best buy employee our geek squad protection on this product is definitely worth it for my partner and I. I feel confident in knowing that if our TV falls or the screen goes out, we will have multiple solutions/options in the future.

Helped me just as I needed, was able to replace my TV with a newer version when the backlights blew out.

We have purchased this coverage on another TV and it really paid off for us! The TV had a defect after 3 years of use and this protection coverage replaced it. Of course the model was discontinued so they gave us another TV... for the same amount we had paid 3 years earlier! We were upgraded to a state of the art TV with all the bells and whistles! It is worth investing in this coverage!! We will always purchase it for our high end purchases!

Tv is amazing, and very portable to use in any place

Geek Squad Protection was well worth the money! It comes with little extras that you just don't think about. They not only installed my TV(believe me, the owner's manual left out a lot of steps), but they hauled away my old TV (there is normally a fee for this). The agents were knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to explain all of the features of my new TV.

No mounting was done. Customer will do it themself.
