Worth it. These TVs will die. Spend 80, and get a new one.

Comes in handy. Peace of mind to have because you never know what happened with electronics.

More convenient one solution to get help when needed

Purchased my tv with a 5 year warranty. Four years later my tv is having issues with what seems to be the wifi card which was replaced. But 2 weeks later the tv is having issues again and they are unwilling to come and take a look at the tv, blaming my wifi at home. I have other electronics at home that work fine without any issues only the tv is having problems. I have video proof of what the tv is doing but yet they blame my wifi. The tv is turning off the wifi on its own, there is no setting to turn this off. I will not be buying again from best buy, let alone use the geek squad service again.

Hopefully won't need the warranty, but gives peace of mind with the purchase of a large TV.

It is a good plan to help one feel worry free. I just hope it would not overlap with the first year manufacturer's warranty so that there will be more years to be covered in total with less cost. Here is what I read online: "You should also check whether the coverage of the service contract overlaps with the problems and time periods the manufacturer’s warranty covers to avoid paying for unneeded coverage. You may find that any additional coverage is not worth the additional cost." I understand the coverage is different, but what I really need is a longer time manufacturer’s warranty with less cost (Accident coverage is not so important for me. I always use my furniture and electronic devices very gently and carefully).

Have not used it yet, but hope coverage is easy to use.

I rarely have to use Geek Squad, but it’s always nice to have them available to protect a purchase!

Have had to use this protection twice and both times was a pleasant experience, I believe it is better to have the protection and not need it than to need it and not have it, honestly I can recommend getting the extended warranty, without hesitation

I had the Geek Squad warranty. I had an issue i made the call to them with in 2 days they came by diagnosed the problem as a bad mother board . I was told the geek squad service would replace it at no cost . They contacted me within a day & schuled an exchange day . It took about 6 days from start to finish they picked up & delivered the new . All in all its worth it .

I bought an open box Samsung Q90 tv that was only missing the standard tabletop mount. When it was received at my home I found a decent scratch where the tv was bubble wrapped and undoubtedly was rubbed by a pallet jack during transportation and the delivery team didn’t bring the correct One Connect box with it. After a quick trip to the store to determine that the Correct One Connect box wasn’t there and a quick 15 minute phone call later to the Geek Squad, I had a brand new TV scheduled for delivery to my home, no questions asked. It was well worth the extra money to protect the investment.

I honestly never needed to use the service, so hats off to best buy for having quality items that outlast their warranty!!

The guys were were terrific, worked proficiently and with good care, cleaned up b4 they left

I allways get geek squad.very good .you thay can't fix you product you get a refund. Are the same product. No hassle.
