I purchased this product to protect the TV that I purchased. If anything goes wrong I hope this will cover it.

I haven't had to use Geek Squad for the item I purchased, but it is reassuring to know they are available if I need them.

I usually purchase warranties when making electronic purchases. I purchased this as a gift and only wanted a 2 year warranty but was told I had to get the 5. Felt bullied

Never had to use it so feel like it is a waste of my money...until the one time that you need it. Better safe than sorry! Hard to transport these large TVs to get them serviced.

I bought a TV in February. In July the screen went out. I knew it was covered under the manufacturer's warranty but I also had the Geek Squad protection plan so I called Geek Squad. They replaced the TV but then informed me that my five year plan was terminated after five months and would not transfer to the new TV. They said I could have used the manufacturer's warranty and preserved the plan but they didn't tell me this beforehand so I burned the plan for nothing. The store manager said to call customer service and complain. I did but the agent did not care. I'll try Amazon next time.

Very underwhelmed by the quality of this service. It was fine I guess but nothing to write home about.

Came in handy....took over a month for geek squad to resolve issue. They ended up replacing TV, which was nice.

I was disappointed to learn that the geek squad protection doesn’t cover cracked screens.

I have not used this service yet, but I would have liked to have known what it entailed, I could have used this twice.

I got a 50” tv about a month ago i turned it on this morning and one part of the tv screen was black i took it to bestbuy mind you i got a 5 YEAR warrenty on it they told me i would have to pay $50 to get it shipped out and then would recieve a call about how much it would he to fix it and them proceeded to tell me they could drop my warrenty and i would have to buy a brand new tv. What is the point of a warrenty if they are just gonna make me pay for it. Very disappointed im not buying from this store again. Do Better.

Not sure if the extra protection is worth it or not, as our item is new and we haven't had to use it yet.

when buying my tv they talked me into this stupid warranty, said any issues just bring it up here and we will have geek squad fix it. So 2 years later the tv had lines all over it, i package it up in its original box and take it up to best buy. They said sorry we can help you call geek squad, but im at the geek squad counter. I call and they tell me i have to take the tv back home re mount it on my wall and have them come pick it up from my house. seriously?

Normally, I don’t buy extended warranties, but I thought this was a good deal and I was buying an expensive TV.

Haven’t had to use them yet, and I guess that would be a good thing

I took the extended warranty. Figured if I took it, I wouldn't need it. But if i didn't, I would. Like deciding whether to take an umbrella when I leave for work.

Have not had to use this service as of yet. Bough it as it was for a tv being used by college student.

All the years I’ve been buying this insurance now it’s the case I can’t exchange my tv because of physical damage. The lady at the counter wouldn’t let me get my insurance receipt and was already dismissing everything. And I had exchange a Tv month prior to this, not the same Tv. And the manager very rude yelling it was a exception. I travelled always 30 min to buy at this store having a Walmart 5 minutes away from my home. Sorry that insurance is a scam.
