We decided to get the protection when we purchased our tv, it broke down and when we decided to go see if they could fix it, they said they could not do nothing about it. It's absolutely not worth having to pay for protection on your tv if when you're going to need them to fix it, they are helpless.

Apparently, I cannot use this purchase at all, because I no longer remember (or the website got it wrong) one of the (not my regular) phone #'s that I supplied, at the time that I was picking up the product.

Just not sure I will ever need it. Wish there was a better option

The one and only time I needed it, it didn’t cover my issue…

Poor service! Took way too long also got a used control board with someone else's information on it.

worst service ever ! Geek squad made my experience with Sony TV very terrible and I do recommend Best Buy to find another service provider who care for their customers.

Do not spend any money on this!!! Only protect manufactured damages.

I dropped off my Lenovo in July 2018 which I purchased in April 2017 from Bestbuy to get repaired for a cracked screen. They quoted me $700.00 to fix a laptop I paid $850.00. They gave me no options and just gave me the laptop back.

Wasted money on this no one is taking care. my tv was broken they said the manufacturing warranty need to end then only geek squad can covers

This is a lie outright Best Buy has refused to replace my tv stated that it was only a 1 year

Last TV I buy from Best Buy. I thought I would be covered by my 5-year geek squad protection plan... But no... Regardless of whats wrong with the TV if there is ANY damage to the screen it voids the protection plan. Wish I knew this before I bought a TV at best buy. Costco at least replaces the TV if the screen is cracked. And Costco will be enjoying all future electronic purchases...

already tried calling for support and they transferred me three times before telling me to contact the manufacturer for assistance

Called after TV died after 6 weeks. Told to return to store, store would not exchange.

I feel if a company knows it is selling only quality products then they will stand behind them. As an example: I purchased a sound bar for $400.00 and then bought the extended warranty. The remote buttons wear out every 6 months (true story). My warranty only allows for one replacement over the extended years so it would have been cheaper for me to replace the remote each time.

Not with it basically an upcharge for the same things that your manufacturer warrant covers.

Awesome quality Tv. No issues w.r.t quality as of today.

I have had nothing but issues with this TV. Struggles to connect to internet and its remote. It will not do either now and I’m taking it in for service agent less than two years.

Don’t get this protection plan. When I got the plan they said it covered everything. That was a lie. Won’t ever pay for it again.

Not useful as the screen cracked and Geek squad does not cover it.
