I bought the Geek Squad service plan for my new Insignia 55" 4K Roku TV. Modern electronics don't seem to last as long as they used to (the TV that this one replaced was a Panasonic 32" that served me well for 15 years). Hope I won't have to use it, but I thought it was reasonable insurance.

GeekSquad protection is excellent. If you have any problems they will take care of the items you purchased under the plan.

Protection is a must when purchasing a TV. They are not cheap. Small price to pay for the protection you receive.

The warranty is very competitively priced within the marketplace. They even come to my home to fix anything since the TV is over 55".

Reasonable extended warrenty.Ease of purchase and info

Never had to use it but glad I have it, ease of mind just in case something goes wrong. Suggested for OLED and appliances that use water.

Oddly I'm being asked to review geek squad service when I have not yet had a need to use them.

I always get the protection package because in my house I almost always need it.
