Always good to get 5 year warranty. I had a Plasma TV 15 years ago that went up on me with 2 weeks remaining on a five year warranty and Best Buy offered me a comparable replacement TV or value applied to an upgrade. I upgraded and enjoyed the hugely applied discount and TV.

The crews are very patient and nice. Though it took some time to get all issue resolved, I am very happy that Geek Squad provide protection to my TV purchase and offered the best outcome

Seems to be a great service but forewarning, you must pay separate for each item you want covered.

Listen, I won't buy anything electronic without some assurance I'm going to have an exit strategy for when it goes kaput. Geek Squad by far has the best plan in the industry and has saved me from having to shell out major dollars more times than I can count on one hand. Its always straight-forward. You call, tech comes out and assesses the issue. They fix it or replace it... PERIOD!

Nice tv picture quality but you have to sign into samsung every single time you do anything on this tv because SaMGSUnG suksballs

5-year Standard Geek Squad Protection is a no-brainer. Covers just about every incident that could happen to the equipment.

We bought a TV with the five year Geek Squad warranty almost five years ago. It developed white spots on the screen. We contacted Best Buy and they determined that it wasn't economical to repair and allowed us the full purchase price toward a new TV. It took a few weeks due to the virus problems but the entire procedure went smoothly. Naturally, we bought the five year protection on the new TV.

I have had to use this and I hope I won't need to, but it was a great price.

I’ve been shopping for my electronics at Best Buy for longer than I can remember. I love the Geek Squad and I love the protection plans. Unfortunately I’ve had to use the plans over the years and I’ve never been disappointed in the repairs or replacements.

After we finally reached the Geek Squad, things went well. We couldn't reach them by phone, but finally did online. Despite spending a long time in our home trying, they couldn't fix our 65" Samsung TV. We had lost the right side of the picture. When they left, we had no picture at all. We had purchased the 5 year service agreement and lost the picture after 2.5 years. it was replaced with a comparable TV, but we were upset that we had to buy a new service agreement, with no credit left for 2.5 years, & that was $170!

Worth every penny. I had an HDMI port go bad in my LG C1 they came to the house replaced the entire board within 30 minutes and did not cost me anything extra. The service guys were excellent and friendly. Highly recommend when making expensive purchases.

Geek Squad was very helpful. They walked me through every troubleshooting step several times hoping to get my tv back in working order the same day but my tv wasn’t having it at all. So with all other options exhausted we scheduled a visit for a couple weeks out and they will be coming to install a new motherboard from my understanding.

I can't believe after 1.5 years our TV went black. Geek squad came out. They did a wonderful job checking our TV and ordered parts. Geek Squad was kind to our dogs, house floors wearing shoe covers and especially to us the owners. Would recommend using them After the parts arrived Greek Squad came out again, Installed the parts, but TV still didn't work. Because we had Greek Squad protection warranty the purchase price was refunded by Best Buy card within 1 week.

Thankfully I haven’t had to use it yet, but it’s great to have the option

Best Buy’s Geek Squad is one of the best computer repair services. They offer a variety of services including virus removal, data recovery, and hardware repair. They also offer a 24/7 support hotline for customers who need help outside of normal business hours .

Had to use it on a 3 year old TV that developed pink hues all around the edges. Basically got the amount I paid for the TV to purchase a new replacement tv. Pleasantly surprised at how smooth the entire process was.

I would recommend this to anyone taking a chance on a television.
