I have not had to use this service yet and hope that I won't need to. Bought it 'just in case'. And because I haven't used Geek Squad (so I can't actually give an accurate star rating) I gave it 4 stars in hopes that if I have to use it, they will measure up to at least a 4, but hopefully will be a 5.

The geek squad has helped me several times with my purchases. They are great and well knowledged on several things.also the coverage of my purchases is worth the extra money.

You only need to read the terms and features for these Geek Squad warranties to see how beneficial they are on top of your manufacturer's warranty. Above and beyond. Most of us carry the insurance plans for cell phones each month as a "what if scenario," this is no different for high end home entertainment equipment. For less than cellular insurance and no "deductibles," this is a must have piece of mind. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

Geek Squad 5 years plan save my bacon on TV’s twice now, it’s a must have for any owners purchasing at Best Buy.

We recently had an issue with a 55 inch TV that was not working properly. After two attempts were made to diagnose the problem and find a solution it was determined that the warranty would be used to replace the faulty unit. It took less than 10 days to find a replacement, have it delivered and remove the old TV.

Great sound bar and is still work ! Bestbuy workers did fantastic helping me find the right one for my 75” Samsung tv!

Floor staff uplsold me to the 5 year protection plan. Hopefully i dont regret it

5-year Standard Geek Squad Protection is a no-brainer. Covers just about every incident that could happen to the equipment.

Geek Squad always someone ready to answer your questions and at the ready when you need to make an appointment.

I would never buy a product from Best Buy without their geek squad protection. I had a light blow out on an older tv & they had me with a new tv the same day in store. You can’t beat that kind of customer service.

They were friendly and helpful but getting the appointment was more difficult than it needed to be

Got the 5-year extra warranty for my television I bought from Best Buy. You never know if you will actually need it but its a great peace of mind especially all the great feedback I've seen/heard when their tv takes a crap. They will literally give you back your money or replace it. Thank god I have not needed it yet but electronics do go faulty at times.
