We got the 5 year warranty and it’s the best our previously purchased Sony kept freezing and they came out 8 times replaced everything and finally gave us a full refund! We were able to get a new tv and so far it’s been great!

I absolutely love the Geek Squad Protection service from Best Buy. I never hesitate to purchase it, especially for my television, as it provides me with peace of mind. Just a few months before the expiration date, my TV started showing signs of going bad, and to my surprise, Geek Squad refunded the entire cost of my TV. I had experienced an ongoing issue with it, which I had previously discussed with them, but it only worsened in the last couple of months until the screen completely stopped working. This time around, I opted for a Samsung TV, and it has been a much better experience. The support team was understanding and promptly emailed me a gift card as store credit. I bought the warranty on my insignia tv I bought less than 2 years ago, thank goodness. There was definitely an array of issues surrounding getting my warranty service but it all worked out in the end. I have just bought another 5 year warranty on my new tv.

I couldn’t get customer support for a ThinQ App from LG. Good thing that I bought Geek Squad support. They were able to help replace the TV in home. The only negative was it took ONE MONTH for them to get to my home. I’m still waiting. Slooooow.
