    Hope I Never The Geek Squad, But I Always Buy The 5 Year Warranty.. I've Used The Geek Squad Many Years Ago On A VCR, They Were Great To Deal With.. An They Solved The Problem For Me.. Thank You Geek Squad..

    Worth the extra dollars. Had purchased plan when we bought our wall mounted tv, Samsung 75". After about 4 1/2 years the set started to go bad (white dots on screen). lived with that for awhile, the found the protection plan. Called for a tech to look at the problem, took the units numbers, to find a replacement part. Part was not made anymore, so, the plan replaced old tv with a new one. purchased protection plan again for the new tv..

    I brought a insignia TV 2 yrs ago and recently it died on me but thanks to geek squad they did what they could but it was dead. But did help with my questions and help me understand my options and where to go from there.

    My brand new LG TV (December) went out and Best Buy passed me along to LG because it was still under warranty. Best Buy would have had this already fixed, but now my TV is out, has been for over a week and the terrible repair people that LG passed me off on are saying that MAYBE sometime next week it will be fixed. TERRIBLE! Why did I pay Best Buy extra to protect it if they are not doing anything about my dead TV? I sure hope that 2 year protection plans restarts itself once my TV is actually operational again.

    Date: 04-13-2024 When purchasing an expensive item (TV, other) I would get the additional extended coverage and the Best Buy Total Tech subscription so as to ensure you are covered. R. Stewart

    I got this tv with the warranty to my 1st tv due to it breaking, geek squad was awesome, very easy with the help, recommend everyone getting geek squad protection.

    Absolutely a must-have. The Geek Squad service has always done right by us; be it taking our soundbar to their facility to be repaired or replacing our TV when things started not working. Please do yourself a favor and ensure your long-term purchases have backup beyond that warranty you'll never be able to navigate like Geek Squad!

    Equipment or Appliance extended is my warm blanket of security. Anything goes wrong...Best Buy will make it right. Geek Squad always helpful...being an older person it's nice that while I don't know much the individual(s) behind the GEEK desk have always been patient. Warm blanket & Kindness...doesn't get much better than that! :)
