    After purchasing a high end 4K HDTV, the Geek Squad Protection Plan is confidence that help is close by if ever needed. The price of the plan is also less than most others. In the past, the Geek Squad Protection from Best Buy was quick, friendly and satisfactory. This makes everything about buying the new TV worry-free.

    The crew that came out to do the install were very polite, and neat. Had a problem with one of the products (component was damaged) they took care of it without any problems, In the past I would do my our install, but for the money it was well worth it, before they left they made sure all components worked to my satisfaction, will use them again, Thank you Best Buy and Sterling

    This is the first of the Qled tv's that i purchased, i love it! What a picture! i would take a picture for the review. but you can't see this quality with just a picture. Buy one you will love it too! I am getting ready to but a 85" Neo Qled. Guessing i won't be disappointed

    We bought a Roku 65” TV plus the 5 yr Geek Squad coverage. We have used Geek Squad in the past on our computer and they fixed it plus retrieved my photos. I highly recommend Geek Squad

    Short answer....GET IT!!! Long answer...GET IT!!! Had a Fire Cube that failed, got a replacement, and the replacement was the next generation cube as they had changed since our original purchase. Taking a 70" 4K Samsung back this weekend that failed during the protection plan period....will probably get an upgraded unit as this model isn't made any longer. For high end stuff (TVs, Alexia, Google, etc) get the 2 year plan, it is worth the extra $$

    You cannot go wrong with having peace of mind that if anything goes wrong with your product that it will be fixed or replaced. I have not had to use Geek Squad as of yet and hopefully I never will. One thing I did hear about the Geek Squad Protection is that replacement value of purchase goes down every year. For example if i purchased a $1000 tv and a 5 year warranty and after 3 years I start having problem and they cannot fix it and have to replace it. I will only get a credit of $400 towards a new Tv. I don't know how true that is but I did hear that from a BB employee.

    Geek Squad service for 'peace of mind'.

    I was able to install the TV and start it up without need of help from the Geek Squad service. However, I thought that having the Geek Squad service available for 5 years was a good idea for a peace of mind, like an insurance policy. Typically Consumer Report Magazine does not recommend this type of coverage as electronic devices are generally very reliable and long lasting. Indeed and interesting, my previous 48" Flat Screen TV failed exactly 5 days after my 5-year Geek Squad service expired. During those 5 years I did not need any service from the Geek Squad. Hope this TV lasts longer then 5 years and 5 days!

    Guys we all know when purchasing items such as tv. It is no brainer "Purchase Protection" for your big ticket item. Few dollars more will add a sense of security and relief, if anything happens to your tv Geek Squad to the rescue!

    Had to use my warrant within 1 days on my tv... Nothing dude to the TV itself. I bought an open box 75 and it had hot spots. The TV was swapped out with a brand new 1 although I bought open box for hundreds left.

    I never used the tv. As the TV was returned, defective. But, the customer service, was very good.

    Geek Squad Warranties

    All good so far as I haven't had to use the extended protection at this point. I will say though that in the distant past (back when a 65in Pioneer Plasma TV cost between $9,000 -10,000) they allowed an extension of the original extended warranty and honored their coverage in about year 8 of warranty replacing that TV with an equivalent unit (now Panasonic) which is still in use today some 14 years from the original purchase and still a great TV especially for sports, action and 3D movies.
