    Geek Squad was FANTASTIC. My former ipad battery would not hold a charge so took it in for new battery but they ended up giving me a refurbished ipad, same model for $450+. Said wait time would be 8-10 days. I got a call day after so was very surprised and happy. THANKS GEEK SQUAD

    3 years later and the TV and apps work just fine. The remote works fine, the color still shows clearly and the updates are easy just like a phone update.

    I am never the type of person to purchase an extended warranty. After some consideration I ended up purchasing the Geek Squad protection plan for my LG CX series OLED, I had it for several years and one day I noticed pink and grey horizontal lines on the lower half of my screen. I immediately called and scheduled to have one of the techs come out and diagnose my screen. The tech informed me that the cost of a new panel exceeded the allowable amount for replacement and they would actually replace my Tv for a newer generation! I could not be happier with my experience with Geek Squad and I will continue purchase a protection plans for years to come!

    We are two seniors, 80 and 83 years old. We have seen so many changes in technology in our lives that it’s very hard to keep up. The geek squad understands our limitations and has resolved our problems effectively.

    I WAS ABLE TO GET MY PRODUCTS IN A TIMELY MAnnER I had a few issues with the removing and adding od the data from one item to another but the Geek service online was helpful.

    These are worth it in my opinion, no matter what you may be buying. Often times, something may quit on you just as a year has passed. Twenty bucks just gives you a little reassurance.

    Bought the protection plan to preserve my investment, but time will tell when i call on them to hopefully remedy any problems that may arise with the samsung 7900u

    Can’t beat it. Something not working the way it did when you got it? Take it back and get another one. No mailing anything off. Which is why I get all my electronics from Best Buy and not anywhere else

    Just bought a LG TV in purchases this plan January 2025, hope I never have to use it, you can rest better that our TV is covered for the next 5 years.

    Great 4K gaming features

    I've had the 65" QD7 for a couple months now. It's my first 4K TV and so far I'm pretty impressed and happy with it. Especially considering the price. I bought it to get the most out of my gaming systems. Great gaming features, good picture, and decent sound for this price point. This TV works great with PC, XBOX, and PS5. I primarily use Nvidia Shield TV for streaming, but the built-in Google TV is nice and works well. Hopefully this TV lasts. I got an extended warranty just in case it doesn't and still didn't spend too much. Finally movin' on up from 1080p and 1440p.

    Cheap price for peace of mind. 200.00 or 2000.00 i'd always protect my purchase. Your only brokenhearted when it breaks and you wish you had of.

    I purchased a TV in 2016, I also purchased the warranty for it and the representative helping me out told me that it covered accidental damage/handling and that is why I purchased it. I've always been loyal to best buy because of their warranty, I've gotten so many friends to purchase their electronics there because of it. But when I called regarding my TV and the fact that my son tipped it over and it broke the girl (Tania from the phone hub) told me I can call to make an appointment and geek squad would come out, assess the damage and they would give me a call when they would issue my credit/return. I called the 1800number and Joe from recon in Maine literally laughed when I told him and he said "uh no, you're only covered against lightning strikes essentially and manufacturers defects. I promptly told him that I live in Las Vegas and there's a bigger reason to sell warranty that covers heat since lighting (and rain) only happen a few days out of the year. But the entire time he was condescending and giggling. I am VERY dissatisfied and the fact that I got three different answers angers me because I spend a couple hundred on the warranty and it covers nothing essentially. I've purchased EVERY single electronic from Best Buy for the past 15 years and I will no longer shop there. Not only that but I'll voice my opinion on the fact that warranty on the TVs is essentially useless, specially if you live in an arid climate since your representative "Joe" claims it only covers against lightning. Customer service is also a joke, if you call 5 different times and speak to 5 different people then you get 5 different answers. Anger can only begin to express how I feel for wasting my time, money and being fed false hope in the wake of what happened to my TV.

    Purchased a new LG CX65 roughly (4) years ago with the 5-year Magnolia warranty. TV recently had a few, almost naked to the eye pixels out. Scheduled a home visit, tech came and assessed and confirmed my report. Said to fix panel wasn’t cost effective so i received a store credit in the amount paid. Was able to purchase a larger, newer version of the TV, along with another 5-year warranty, with shipping and tax for the same amount paid 4 years ago. If you’re purchasing a higher end TV, especially OLED, and have any fears of burn in or dead pixels, this warranty will quell any anxiety. Only warranty I’ve raved about due to what they tell you is what you get plus the seamless process of initiating claim and receiving store credit. Thank you Best Buy!
