its worth to get a protection plan to have piece of mind

Purchased Geek Squad Protection Plan, sometimes a deciding factor when purchasing item of a greater value. Great people and Team of experts at Best Buy! Not always needed, which is a good thing, but beyond any product's warranty and experiencing problems, they come and repair products on-site and if parts become unavailable, they will replace it with a new product. I can only speak highly of Geek Squad Services.

In my personal opinion a Geek Squad protection plan is a no-brainer for most of Best Buy's products. I especially get them when I buy a TV, they've saved me more than one time when a TV is just stopped working. To pay the reasonable price for a 5-year plan, to me is a no brainer. I personally don't recommend the 2-year or 3-year plans for TVs, most TVs don't last longer than that (planned obsolescence). A Geek Squad protection plan is more suitable for a television let's say over $400 or $500. You can't replace a TV for the small price they want for the protection plan. So even if you don't use it, because your TV outlasted the 5 year protection plan. Just know that you happen to get a TV that outlasted it's useful time (planned obsolescence). I've had many flat panel TVs in the past 15 years and most of them did not last more than 5 years. Over those 15 years The Geek Squad has either repaired or replaced my TVs with virtually no hassles. In my opinion A Geek Squad protection plan is a must.

I am happy I purchased the Protection plan, gives you peace of mind abd there when you need ir most.

It's essential to have this protection because you never know if a device will be good or not. It may come with a manufacturing defect that isn't usually noticed at first, but after a certain amount of use, a problem arises. That's what Geek squad protection is for. They help you and determine if the device needs to be replaced or repaired. Very good service. Thanks, Geek Squad!

normally don't purchase extended warranty but I did with this TV as I am not familiar enough with this brand to totally trust it

I normally do not purchase extended protection for my own electronics, but since my purchase was a gift to someone, I wanted to ensure the recipient would not have to spend any money out of HER own pocket on MY gift if any issues arose. I guess you could call it peace-of-mind for both of us.

I recently tried this product and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. The quality feels solid, and it performs as expected. It’s easy to use, looks good, and seems durable enough for everyday use.

Excellent idea to offer coverage on a TV... Hope to never use, but if I do, coverage is there.

Hopefully I never have to use the warranty but at least I have peace of mind for 5 years!

Love getting protection plan. It is always better to be safe than sorry. Definitely reccomend

This geek squad insurance was purchased just in case I had any issues but so far haven’t had any reason to use it
