Good to have if ever needed, hoping that I don’t and my product continues past 5 years.

Had to use my Geek Squad Service just 2 months before it was expired on my 75" TCL ROKU TV .. IT WAS REPLACED WITH AN UPGRADED MODEL AND I BOUGHT ANOTHER 5 YEAR GEEK SQUAD SERVICE..

Always good to have have not to use yet. Years ago I had their protection with a smart TV, when things went wrong I got the tv replaced no hassles These aGeeks are pretty cool.

It’s protecting your investment. Self explanatory and worth it

Having a five year warranty on any electronics these days is a very smart decision. It’s well worth the money because of the product has issues before five years is up. It’s gonna cost you a lot more money to fix it. I would highly recommend getting the five year warranty it has worked well for us.

I have purchased my last four televisions from Best Buy because of the geek squad protection. The very first time I had an issue they replaced my TV. No questions asked.

You should have it, especially you purchase OLED TV.

A protection plan is great if you're overly cautious and almost a must if you have children. Would highly recommend for purchases over $100, especially if they have a lot of moving parts.

Purchased a Sony TV in June, along with it I purchased Best Buy's 5 year extended warranty. The set developed a problem in Nov. Called the Geek Squad and described the problem. The knowledgeable representative diagnosed the situation over the phone and explained it was a panel failure that could not be repaired. He emailed me an exchange order to bring to my local BB store. Brought the paperwork to the store and they set up a delivery/pickup date for 2 days later. Had I chosen to bring my set in they would have made the exchange right there in the store. All of this took less than an hour to accomplish. Two days later I had my new TV...WOW! Throughout this process every person I dealt with was extremely courteous and helpful. They even offered to let me apply my original purchase price towards any other TV that they carried. Love my Sony so I told them "no thanks". Purchasing that extended warranty was truly a Best Buy for me.

Absolutely worth the investment to protect your original purchase. Our television suddenly stopped working and was still covered under the extended warranty we purchased.
