Hope I Never The Geek Squad, But I Always Buy The 5 Year Warranty.. I've Used The Geek Squad Many Years Ago On A VCR, They Were Great To Deal With.. An They Solved The Problem For Me.. Thank You Geek Squad..

I always get the extended protection plan, It works great, the Geek squad gives you good service, I has a Logitec remote go bad, I took it in, no questions I got a replacement right away, Bought it on the Washer Dryer Refrigerator. Also the price is very reasonable compared to other companies its cheap . Everything is electronic and smarter than I am, So I get the Coverage and sleep easy, No worries

I buy from Best Buy even if I have to pay a little more because of their protection plan. I feel more at ease with the geeks than alot of the other retailers, plus the product normally outlast the warranty, but I get it just in case for big ticket items.

we have not had to call them yet. We did on a previous device and they fixed it promptly at no cost

Never get anything without the coverage!! You usually have a couple of weeks to buy coverage if you can’t right away!!!

Hopefully I never need the service, but it’s a good idea to purchase this warranty. Without a warranty; it would be cheaper to purchase another TV, rather than pay repair costs. And I was impressed when reading threw the details, that for TVs over 40 inches, they do in home service at no charge. Sounds great- and worth the purchase for the peace of mind. Thanks Best Buy.

I always purchased Best Buy's GSP when I purchase large ticket items (e.g. TV, Computer, etc.) and they usually don't disappoint. Just make sure when you're purchasing a GSP that it doesn't run the same length of time as the manufacturer's warranty because it's pointless at that point. Other than that, replacing a defective unit is fairly easy.

I always get geek squad for my expensive electronics just for peace of mind. The tv broke and they came out to see what they could do. Tv wasn’t able to be fixed so what I paid for it could be applied for the next tv. And of course got geek squad to cover my new tv.

Purchased this for 65" LCD TV. While I normally don't purchase extended warranties, the peace of mind this provides knowing that I will have an operating TV guaranteed for 5 years is worth the small cost. I have had several large screens fail, so knowing my cost of ownership over the next five years, as compared to possibly having to purchase a new one after the one or two year warranty passes is a plus.

4 yrs ago I purchased a High End Sony TV, and purchased the 5-Year Protection Plan. It paid off, when that TV stopped working. Geek Squad came out, advised the TV had to be replaced. Went to Best Buy, got the Protection Plan value, and ended up getting a 75” and a 55” for the bedroom. And a gift card voucher with the remainder of the $$. Didn’t hesitate to add the Protection Plan to both TVs.

My nephew took it out and assembled it with no trouble at all. I bought the warrany for my peace of mind. It was my first time purchasing a tv with these capabilities and wanted to be sure I got good performance from it.

My sole purpose for shopping Best Buy is The Geek Squad. They are Amazing. I am computer illiterate, When I bought my first laptop, an assistant went above and beyond to see that I got the best laptop at the best price for my needs. A few weeks later he was promoted to Geek Squad. Now I call I ask for him, he takes the time to explain whatever it is i need to know. His name is Teo, hes at the Selingsgrove Pa. Store. As long as Best Buy keeps GEEK SQUAD, ILL KEEP SHOPPING AT BEST BUY.

If you're looking to get a Geek Squad warranty start off with a one or two-year you can always add on. If you start out with the 5-year like I did on my TV spent $380 on it. My TV broke after nine months and I lost for years worth of warranty because it doesn't transfer over to the TV they replace it with so you have to buy a brand new warranty on the new free TV they give you. On my new TV I just got the 2-year and they said they would email me when it's fixing to run out so I can add another two years to it
