Definitely a plus to buy a protection package in my opinion. Geek squad seems to be making their protection packages more affordable which is a plus. The warranty covers a remote control replacement too and that could be beneficial with small Children’s and dogs. However trying to get help when needing to use the warranty can be troublesome and time consuming.

Even though I have the Total Tech protection for my home and all of my equipment, I still purchase the extended warranty protection for whatever life may throw at you. I have had to use it a couple of times and that more than paid the cost of obtaining it. when you spend hundreds of dollars on an item you use daily, give yourself the peace of mind of protecting it as well.

I am happy the geek squad protection plan was purchased. This purchase will give me peace of mind in case something happens to the television. Even though the television is new sometimes things happen unexpectedly without warning. So having this will eliminate any uneasiness of this purchase. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Haven't had to use Geek Squad yet for any broken items but have purchased open box items in the past that they have certified and the items are always exactly as described so they seem to know how to rate items and what comes with and how to use a device. Geek Squad was also instrumental with getting me a refund on an installation gone bad on my dishwasher (note - Geek Squad wasn't the installer).

I have never gone wrong by purchasing the protection

When you pay that kind of money you might just as well have it warranted

An amazing computer!…I needed one for my son since he’s homeschooled…Best Buy and HP is my store and product brand for electronics for school…I highly recommend this product no issues…

This is a great (refundable) option if you want protection. Bought it for my last TV and when we relocated and left the TV behind, Best Buy prorated my refund and I got a good chunk of change back, so my warranty fee wasn't wasted on something I no longer owned! Great way to go for peace of mind protection.

Purchasing the stuff gives me this good state that I would be taken care of if anything should happen. It makes me not to worry too much. Life is already stressful to be thinking about this kind of thing

We purchased the max warranty and the price was great

I normally do not purchase extended warranties. However, I have purchased a few now at Best Buy. I became a firm believer when a camera was accidentally dropped by my daughter. Camera was fixed, and good as new. When it came time for the 5 year purchase, it was to cover a large screen TV. My savings on the TV more than covered the cost of the plan. And for what the TV cost, it was very affordable peace of mind. May not use it, but I have it.

I strongly recommend purchasing the Geek Squad Protection for any major purchase you make at Best Buy! We had purchased our TV three years ago when one part of the screen went dark. We called and they sent someone to our house (we are 90 miles from the nearest store), who said it couldn't be fixed. Once their insurance reviewed it, we were given store credit towards a new TV. Pay for the Geek Squad Protection...you may never need it, but if you do, it will be money well spent!

With the cost of UHD 4K TVs rising, we could justify the cost of a 100% 5 year warranty through the GEEK Squad to give us peace of mind. We had the recent experience of another brand TV dying completely 2 months after the manufacturers warranty expired but was able to get a new 4K 60" TV at no cost to us under our extended warranty.

I have purchased service warrantees in the past with the hopes of not needing to submit a claim but have confidence in having the coverage due to positive past experience.

Geek Squad Protection was well worth the money! It comes with little extras that you just don't think about. They not only installed my TV(believe me, the owner's manual left out a lot of steps), but they hauled away my old TV (there is normally a fee for this). The agents were knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to explain all of the features of my new TV.

The price was a deciding factor for me. Good product for price.

Imagine red lines down the tv and you just realized it is a new 80" Enough said Best Buy will make sure that new investment works well beyond you paying it off. I always use my Best Buy credit card. If you look at my photo, you can imagine something going wrong past the manufactures alloted time. With my 5 year I know that for 5 years our family will have a working 65" that if something happens Best Buy will pick it up and bring us back a working unit for 60 months.

Nice TV with all the updated perks and smart TV add ons
