Sometimes you just can't trust the product quality today and I couldn't for the TV I purchased but it is rated as one of the best TVs at its price point with some caveats should you be one of the unlucky ones who gets a lemon. Best Buy extended warranties are however more expensive than the competition.

Even though stock is limited more than it used to be, I found a comparable replacement for my TV when it had isssues. Love that the cost of extended warranties have come down over the years.

I always try to purchase geek squad protection for all my big purchase at best buy and they have not failed me. and it gives me peace of mind knowing my items will be fixed or replaced if anything were to happen.

The Geek Squad arrived on time and connected all of my components after installing my TV on the wall . They also took the time to answer all of my questions about my new Tv. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Thanks Geek Squad.

I called the geeks on my new Hisense TV (since then, returned) to figure out a volume control problem. The first tech just said I should bring it in--no attempt to troubleshoot. The second tech spent a long time with me trying various things, and theorizing about what the cause could be; I appreciated that, even though we were ultimately unable to solve the problem and I had to return the TV.

Got as added protection. Hope I won’t have to use it. If so, hope it was worth it. Wish the manufacturer’s warranty was longer than the seemingly standard one year.

This is a great TV. The delivery went perfectly as well. I am completely happy with Geek Squad and Best Buy.

I don’t often by service or insurance but once in a while with specific products and needs, it’s a good idea and can be worth the money.

Most people won't go for a 5 year extended warranty, but for $149. on a $700.purchase TV that would last under 10 years I figure it's worth the price. My last TV was less then 7 years old when it went. Who knows if the new ones will last that long.

Worth every penny. Had something break, called the number, had a replacement within days. This is how service is done. It's worth it.

I’m glad about the Best Buy’s Geek squad; 2 -year protection plan, for my new Samsung TV. The comfort of knowing that my 58- inch 4K HDL will be taken care of completely and in capable capable hands of the Geek squad technicians.

After purchasing a Samsung 65 inch TV, I wanted it to be professionally calibrated. The calibration tech came to my house and calibrated my TV in about an hour. It looks AMAZING!!! Very professional. Highly recommended.

I have many times bought Service Protection. Used it once on a Printer and was provided with compension toward an upgraded printer with no problem. Took this service protection out on our new Samsung 55" 8000 Series. Hope to never have to use it, but feel comfort knowing we are covered for five years.

My wife and I purchased this tv with 5 year geek squad protection. The protection gives me peace of mind on a large purchase and to me it is definitely worth it whether I need their services or not.
