I have not had to actually take advantage of this service. But I hope to have no issues when the need arises. I read prior reviews before my purchase which stated they were given a hard time because they didn't have the original packaging. So because of that warning I have stored my packing away along with my original receipt. You can never be too careful....

Probably the best protection plan out here. Every chance I get I try to get one. Best plan I seen so far , I think if you are buying anything at Best Buy you have to get the plan

If you buy electronics that are more than 1000 dollars, you should have this protection. I have used it twice and it was easy to get a replacement both times. Figure after a year, the television you had will be outdated and if something happens, you will get something that is comparable.

Best extended coverage on the market in my opinion. The first OLED tv I owned suffered from Screen burn in. This is the only coverage I know of that covers burn in. They replaced my TV with the same or newer model. If you are making a high dollar purchase make sure to protect it.

Got this for my 1st expensive TV. Haven’t had to use it but have used this warranty before for different products. Best Buy does a wonderful job and are quick to respond

Bought it on a TV for my 6 yr olds room. It died, but at no fault of my child (yeaaa). Took the TV back without receipt. The staff looked it up under my Best Buy card and the credit of the purchase price was applied to any TV I wanted to purchase. Very easy and the staff was great!

Purchased just in case something happened. Old was damaged so this was done for security. Luckily I haven't had to use it yet, but still glad I got it.

They have kept my devices safe for all this time. Great value for the money.

My tv installation was very simple. All that was required was mounting the tv on the wall. I dont have any other devices that needed to be connected to my tv.

This is a review of the geek squad coverage and I have not had a claim to submit. It seems like a good thing to have but nothing to report.

Its always a pain to return a tv through geek squad. From the initial call which you almost always have to wait 20 minutes . They always seem to have a real problem finding my service plan. I have multiple accounts and have bought many many tvs from them but they should be able to figure it out. I own sportsbars in FL and I only buy from Best Buy but they really needto figure this out because when i have a tv go down i want it back up and running as quick as possible but its always a hassle. At each of my clubs i have a back up ready to replace tvs that go down so my actual business is never really effected but we always regret having to call geek squad because we know its gonna be such a hassle and its gonna be a lot of time sitting on phone having to wait for a service guy to come out and tell us what we already know then take it to a store and replace. It would be nice if they brought a replacement tv with them when they come out. But instead u have to get a service order made then you got to call geek squad again and wait on line for 20 minutes. Then usually another 10 or 20 minutes to find the info from the multiple accounts. I have never had anyone help me combine all accounts into 1 account. It seems like that would make the most sense but instead i have to go through the same process every time. Its exausting. I love Best Buy but service plans are always a pain for me.

Love the extended warranty with Geek Squad my 4.5 year old TV just went out and they gave me credit for what I paid for the TV and I was able to purchase a better one for less

This tv is one of the best TVs I have had since my Panasonic and pioneer elite plasma TVs. Picture is so clear and watching movies in 4K at night are amazing

I've purchased this service since buying my 1st computer 15 years ago and renewed constantly because at my age I don't understand nor do I have the knowledge to figure out my 'BooBoo's without the help from Geek Squad...Thank You Geek Squad!

I bought a Sharp 70 inches 3 years ago. The screen pixels started to go bad. I called Bestbuy and explained my observations. They sent out a tech to check it a day later. In two days they offered to give me another TV or comparable credit because my Sharp was no longer in stock. Am glad I spent the extra money for the additional 5 years warranty.

You can never go wrong getting the warranty! Definitely worth it!

No complaints and a great price. Perfect for the living room for movies or games.
