Definitely recommend getting this for large purchases. I've never needed to use it. But it definitely is a peace of mind. I know people that have used it. I have a family member that Is a best buy manager and they fully recommend it as it does pay for itself most tye time

Although we ended up not needing Geek Squad to mount the new TV we bought from Best Buy, I wanted to share some appreciation for the tech who initially came out to do the job. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable, and gave me a really valuable recommendation on the type of screen size that was right for our living room. I ended up exhanging the original TV I bought for a different TV, which turned out to be a much better fit for the room — just as he predicted. Really appreciated his insight and am planning to use Geek Squad in the future.

We havent had to use it yet but its nice knowing we have protection on our investment.

The amount of times something seemed to just go wrong due to my luck with technology I've decided to get warranty on everything I buy now haha and it's already been worth it!

I came into the store(6/13/25) in a highly distressed state of mind having my finance passing away just 4 previous days that week. I showed Jake of the Geek Squad a photo of my home TV screen and he immediately went into action to help me. He was kind, calm, and expressed his sympathy to me for my loss. When he was finished doing what he had to do to resolve my issue, he came back and told me the good news -I was getting a new TV. What a relief. Thank you Jake you deserve a raise!

With a tv that didn’t fit in my car, they helped dearly with getting the return pushed back out (has to be rechecked by tech) and put it on hold til I could come back for my open box purchase! I am so glad that I bought the Geek Squad 5 year protection plan! I've had a few issues with the device and the Geek Squad has always stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park.

Geek Squad did a great job setting up my MacBook Air and making sure everything was running smoothly. The technician was knowledgeable and polite, and I felt confident my device was in good hands. The only downside was the wait time for my appointment, but once they arrived, the service was excellent. Overall, a reliable option if you want professional tech support

My television died and this warranty bought the newer version of my latest television. You must get the warranty from BB with their products!
