    Geek Squad it the Best Buy for your Bucks

    These guys are top notch and would recommend any customer who buys a new TV to buy the Geek Squad Warranty. They were very helpful in explaining the operating system of my 86 inch Lg Tv. Noland made some changes in my hookups to make the system easier to use. Made some adjustments to the picture quality and explained what he was doing so I would understand why he made the changes. Made changes so I could just use my Dish remote instead of using 3 remotes for the TV, Receiver, Dvd and streaming. Don't hesitate to buy the Geek Squad, its worth it for sure. Happy Viewing.

    One of the best AMC provided by BestBuy. It is always recommented to get this protection for the peace of mind for costly devices. Pros: 1) Excellent service. The excecutives how handle our calls will make sure we are comfertable and serviced well. 2) Ease of contact - 24X7 some one is available to help us. 3) Knowledgable service persons - The person who comes home for the service / at the station are well knowledgable about the object they are working on. 4) Excellent exchnage policy. If the object is non repairable, the company will refund the fill amount (including the tax) for an excange (if the same item is not available any more). The cons i felt on this program 1) Little more expensive than the other company AMCs. 2) Some time in-home appointments takes some time (but sure it will happen with in a weeks time )

    Excellent combo with the TV, pictures are so vivid!!! Makes the game come alive!! Didn't even have to adjust pic or sound!! Amazing quality!! I recommend it to any gamer!! And geek squad keeps it safe too!!

    Always get the protection if ur TV is over $1000. I bought the 5 year warranty on my old Sony tv. It broke 4 years 7 months in the warranty and they offered to give the same model for the new year or $870 towards new tv. It was definitely worth the money. BTW I paid $1000 for the old tv.

    So let me share my agony. Purchased my 23 yr old Daughter a 65” TV for Christmas. It was really for my 1yr Granddaughter…SHHHH! Well I mounted it on the wall, of course, and within a month or two they moved into another apartment without the roommates. Before place was remodeled for them they spent 3 weeks at her In-Laws. Well I moved them both times and when TV was turned on again after two moves, though seemingly perfect, the screen had apparently been pressed to hard at a single point and did not work. Not worth fixing. Bought her a 70” this time WITH THE WARRANTY!! Don’t make the same mistake I did :]

    I always purchase the extended warranty with all my products at Best Buy. Geek Squad are alway professional, prompt and very knowledgeable when dealing with the issues I have had with my products. However the best thing about the warranty is the procedure for replacing repair or just providing you with an in store credit for replacement at the cost you paid for the product if they do not have a comparable replacement.

    Great for peace of mind, doesn't cover physical damage, wish there was an option for damage coverage on tvs at Best Buy

    WOW, This was a great buy for the price for this tv,and with the help that we received we picked the perfect tv for the room we put it in. There are no complaints on,color or picture. Sound was fine but with the great service we got the best sound bar witch i will leave a review on it as well.

    A large purchase like our new tv was even better know that if a problem occurs Geek Squad will be there to take care of it for us. You can’t put a price on security and piece of mind.

    I bought a Samsung TV in 2013. I extended my Geek Squad Protection plan before the 2 year mark expired. Thank goodness I did because the next year (2016) after extending the protection, a weird vertical line appeared on the TV screen. Called Geek Squad... so stressed out about it thinking the worst like they won't honor the protection, it's gonna take long to process a new TV, etc. They got somebody right away to look at the TV, told me it has to be replaced, got a call from corporate for pricing... my TV was $2,500.. 3 year depreciation later, they were willing to give me one for $1,500 either get a TV for that amount or pick a more expensive TV and they'll minus $1,500 from the expensive TV. I think it was fair. I didn't think I was jacked or anything. 3 years later, the TVs were more advanced and hi-tech. They gave me the pricing of what my tv with same specs would have cost in current times. I opted to get a more current version of Samsung TV (more expensive) and just pay the difference. Also got a 5 year protection plan this time around.

    I only gave it five stars because I didn't want to give it a bad mark. We can't know how well Geek Squad is until we have a problem. So what else is there to say? Why would you ask about your Geek Squad service on a product we just bought? Expecting us to have to use it? Rating the Geek Squad at this point doesn't mean a thing.
