It was time-consuming and overly complicated to set-up the TV, but I did not think my Geek Squad protection plan covered set-up; and it doesn't. Without the 5-year Protection Plan I would have passed on this major purchase. Not yet having the need to summon the Geek Squad, I am not in a position to evaluate their service by way of either speed or competence. I hope never to have to summon them.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Luckily I had a protection plan on my old samsung TV, because when the sound went out, I was able to get it sent in to be fixed twice, but with no luck, and then got a free replacement; never had to spend a penny except on a new protection plan.
